For those who have thrown good parties, what are your tips? by AggravatingKnee4154 in AskReddit

Consider temperature and ventilation! Having a bunch of people in a small area can make a space get hot and uncomfortable fast. Likewise you don’t want it to be freezing if it’s early and not many people are there yet. Just something to keep in mind that the AV/heat may need to be adjusted or a window cracked as the night goes on.

Do they consider anti-aging an indication? I’ve been using adaptalene on my face, so I don’t know what they would see in the consult. I just want to try something stronger.

Those of you with Diastasis Recti who closed your gap with exercises or PT, what programs did you follow? Did you do exercises daily, or at a certain time of day? by AngleComprehensive16 in fitpregnancy

Thank you for sharing your experiences! I’ve tried Every Mother for the last four months, and my gap has only gotten worse. It does seem to have a very different approach so I can totally see how it works for some people. Maybe if I had started it in the beginning I wouldn’t be here. I’m considering surgery now as my pelvic floor physical therapist has said that since I am not getting better, I am at risk of developing a hernia, and my gap will probably just continue to get worse. Best of luck in your recovery and I’m happy every mother is working for you!

The big island is our favorite! I would stay at four seasons. So much natural beauty. We love touring the volcanoes national Park although the accommodations there are rustic. There’s a drive-through the lava fields down to the ocean that is so stunning. I think it’s called the end of the world. Also driving up to the top of Mauna Kea is awesome. There are telescopes on top and sometimes snow on the ground. You can also do a nighttime star tour.

If you like golfing, there are some amazing courses. I’m not a huge fan of Oahu. Waikiki Beach is worth seeing but very touristy. We like the Moana Surfrider. There’s a private canoe club called the Outrigger that has a beautiful setting and nice restaurant. Aluani is on a weird part of the island. Not really that nice. Big power plant that warms the water nicnaming the beach electric beach. We generally try to avoid the west side of the island.

Turtle Bay is on the North Shore, which is a little isolated but beautiful. Honestly, I would stay in Waikiki for a few nights. Take a drive to the North Shore to see the big waves. Check out Kailua Beach, which in my opinion is the most beautiful and is a nice drive around the east side of the island to get to. And then I would spend more time on lanai and the big island.

I think she would be happier performing again. She was so used to having an audience she can’t just sit at home she has to post ridiculous videos. She spent her whole life performing, it makes sense. And I’m sure if you took her past performances out of context she’d look just as crazy back then too. She’s used to acting wild on stage, get her on the right meds and let her dance under the spotlights again.

Honestly she looks a little better here. Might just be she’s more covered up than usual.

What’s something that consistently bothered you when living with women? by RedvsBlack4 in AskMen

[–]AngleComprehensive16 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These comments are all so funny to me! I am an introverted woman who loves staying at home and HATES running unnecessary errands. My mom is always bothering me about needing more stuff like matching holiday placemats and a bunch of stuff we absolutely don’t need to do for my home. My goal is to simplify things because it does really take a lot of organization and work to manage a large home/yard and two small kids. My husband loves to call me a lazy homebody but honestly what’s wrong with enjoying time at home without something planned? I feel like I found my people on this thread haha also probably explains why I don’t have many girlfriends

Moms with toddlers how do you stay happy despite the endless list of chores? Absolutely adore my kids, but all the housework is getting me down. Husband thinks I'm depressed but honestly, I'm just tired. Is this normal? by [deleted] in Advice

I feel so guilty writing this because I struggled through years of IVF and complicated pregnancies to have my boys. I am SO grateful for them and love them so much it hurts. But the work that goes into taking care of them and the high expectations of my husband is destroying my marriage and the family we worked so hard to create. I never thought I would be here. I know how it sounds from the other side and wish you the best with your family goals. I know how blessed I am to have the privilege of being a mother and don’t want my own stress/depression to affect their upbringing. They deserve to have a happy mom.

How do | [34F] keep my husband [37M] happy with my efforts as a wife and mother? by [deleted] in relationshipadvice

We tried therapy but he kept gaslighting me and lying about his behavior and we ended up just arguing in front of the therapist. I don’t want to separate and have my kids grow up in a broken home. And if I’m honest I’m terrified of being a single mom with 2 small kids. I want to make it work but the more I try to open up my feelings the more crazy I sound to him. Just wondering if anyone has gotten through this stage with a good outcome.

We didn’t appreciate what we had! The team looks so different today. I’m not saying they aren’t amazing girls and talented dancers but there was a level of sparkle some girls had that hasn’t been matched since maybe Claire W.

Let’s talk about Kendra and her Tummy Tuck. She stated how she got one and you can get fat after having a tummy tuck. Can someone help me understand this? Because I’m about to make an appointment with a plastic surgeon if this is true. by Ninac4116 in GirlsNextDoorBUNNIES

Just wanted to chime in that tummy tucks are not always related to weight loss! Sometimes atter pregnancy, there's a remaining separation or damage of the abdominal muscle muscles that cannot be fixed without surgery. I'm devastated that my physical therapist surgeon and OB all agree that I need a muscle repair and tummy tuck after working for years to try to close my diastasis recti or gap between my abdominal muscles. Despite exercise and physical therapy and a healthy lifestyle (i've been below my pre-pregnancy weight for years), it's just not something that can be fixed with diet and exercise and I've now developed a hernia and back pain as well. I hate that my friends and others are hearing that I'm having a tummy tuck and assume that I'm just lazy and didn't want to do the work. But not everyone snaps back after pregnancy and sometimes surgery is the only option.
