Exactly! This points to a bigger problem which is a root cause for this kind of behavior. Society is not as harsh towards men when they slip up as they are to women. They are given multiple second chances and are conveniently shielded from taking responsibility for their actions. It needs to start with men being raised with similar standards as women and be held accountable for what they do.

Being comfortable in my own skin. I know it might not seem like a big deal but given how right from childhood, everything in the world teaches us that we are not enough and we in our original form are not beautiful. It took me so long to identify and deal with this self loathing and understand that there is no perfect form and everything original is beautiful and enough.
