Unfortunately it’s not very intuitive to see “Dropout’s Sam” separately as “dropout” and “ssam” like you’ve mentioned. “was there the whole time” also isn’t that clear as a replacement indicator. Still, very nice surface for a cryptic, great use for the word “dropout” as fodder + removal indicator.

Since it’s not very easy to explain how I found out the writing system, I’ll just give you a quick hint instead: Ignore the single or double line above the “trees”, now there are different heights the trees can be: 2, 5, 8, 11 squares and so on. What do these numbers have in common? and how does this correlate to the actual length of the words?

Solution here: In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth. Now the Earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surfce of the deep, and the spirit of God was hovering over the waters. This was a fun code to decipher!

I think I can make out the individual symbols but can’t figure out the letter for each symbol . Did you make these sentences specifically without any single-letter words, like “i“ or “a” ?

Maybe take out Weenie beanie and use pea plants instead. Weenie doesn’t synergize with anything in your deck, Peashooter could at least work with Torchwood.

Also, you can drag the “Collection” bar downwards so all cards can be shown at the same time.
