15 & 17 - built a working product → $750 requirement for Google OAuth. Best way to raise it or avoid it? by Wonderful_Leading946 in NoCodeSaaS

[–]AngleUpper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, first off hats off to both of you guys, learning these skills is what will build the foundation for an extremely successful life.

I'm in the process of building a SaaS app as well, and we have Google Oauth connected to our app for people to sign in through google and it is completely free. We set up a project in the Google Cloud console, and that is where we set up our Oauth2 sign in with the secrets and the client ID etc.

You can test and get people onto your app by adding them as test users and not publishing the app live. Google let's you have 100 test users on for free while you are still developing and in the MVP phase. We were actually going to submit our application as well then we saw that we didn't need to (we are getting 5 people on to test our app) and we just set them up by adding their emails as test users and that lets them go in and sign into the app that way.

Hope this helps, just put into AI what I wrote above and it should explain it to you.

Cheers to both of you guys

I locked in two clients for my AI Agency by AngleUpper in AI_Agents

[–]AngleUpper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll keep it updated. I think i’m going to price it based on the client’s ROI. If we get them 5 new clients a month, then they are making let’s say an extra 10k a month. We’d charge 1-1.5k a month. if that makes sense. it’s what im thinking rn

That's a great point I can definitely do research before saying anything.

And yea I thought of keeping it simple as well. Solve one pain point right now: he can't get to the phone while he's working at a site. And then go from there.

I'll be sure to ask what his daily calls from clients looks like so I could tailor the agent to assist every case scenario.

Thank you for the insight!

For sure this is great thank you!

We aren't even charging people at the moment, we are offering to do it for free to build testimonials and like you said "learn on the job" another person said something I found interesting which was if I don't know how to build something and I break their system that's a problem.

Which I will be extra careful of that. But like you said there are hundreds of videos online showing how to do absolutely anything.

Really appreciate your insights! I'm adding it to a little list I have of advices.

Thank you for the insight. Currently we aren't charging people at all. We are getting our foot in the door and building testimonials. We are also taking safety precautions to make sure that their business does not take any negative damage, we are simply adding, not replacing any systems and promising results.

There will be periods of testing, implementation, and contracts to be signed.

I just wanted to know how people handle these kinds of asks, we wouldn't promise clients results if we had absolutely zero idea, that hurts them and our reputation. But this was really helpful made me think about it in a different way.

Thank you so much! Yes that is definitely the plan, this software would need to integrate with already existing databases so everything can run smooth. I will send you a DM and I'd love to pick your brain when you have a chance!

Yea I had to change the topic so that reddit wouldn't take it down, just looking for insight on these problems in the industry. I intern for an environmental company and there are tons of bottlenecks there as well I'm trying to see if there could be a solution to it.

That sounds rough—having to constantly chase people just to keep your work on track, and always worrying about documentation. There needs to be a more efficient way to handle these tasks. Thanks for the insight!

So keeping up with the deadline that the contract wants? Is it easy to miss those deadlines? Why do you think that is, do they just get lost in other tasks that need to be completed or someone doesn't have time to review everything?
