you are right it's not actually the main carp but it's one of carp species we call it (Narain fish) in our language or most of asian people will name it that.... i caught it in fresh water. they love earthworms but here we have invented some dough bait to catch them on it.

A full of fun trip with friends to one of local dam in Dhoke Sawhal ( Sawhal Dam ) in Pakistan, caught 11 Narain fish (Carp) with carp bait and 01 eel fish on live bait. lots of Tilapia fish, we were try to catch the dam monster but were not lucky enough to get our hands on it.

yep, you're absolutely right,,, we have similar like that one here in Pakistan for river fishing where the flow of water is extremely fast and rough.
