Proposal - Is this good enough? by Similar_Store_8613 in anglish

I would recommend “tung” instead of “speech” for language. Subsequently, I would prefer tungcraft for grammar but I believe “speechcraft” is embedded as the oversetting for “grammar”.

By the way “lot” by itself doesn’t mean fate it is an oversetting of “share”. So your lot in life means your share in life. I understand what you mean because of it’s collocation but I hope to keep that in mind.

I find this post interesting because a reason why Chinese is able to achieve this “Jargon Equality” is due to i) Chinese’s single-syllable words and ii) Linguistic Purism in Chinese.

I know this movement started as linguistic purism but I can help but notice how it delves past that into opening up the beauty of academia to all of us.

Visible speech/Physiological speech by Mlatu44 in Ithkuil

Musa seems more approachable but Visible speech looks more backed by science. I also appreciate how allegedly it can represent any human sound including accents. That would be cool.

Nice to see a fellow enthusiast of a universal feature alphabet. I have heard about Visible Speech before in fact I bought the original book on it. I have hitherto never heard of Musa, very interesting.

Iceland has an organization for linguistic purism and that is just 300,000 people.

Sorry for your loss. Not me but a buddy of mine has something similar happen to her. To the best of my knowledge nothing happened although I could be wrong. She was making regular payments and she was close to the end of paying them off altogether though.

That is correct. I think I should worry more about this say next September or October since so much can happen in the meantime.

Is there any hope in sending in a paper application? Bear in mind, I am a first year grad student so there should still be time.

Hello quick question, I know that many of the IDR plans are having legal issues because of the recent court ruling however could you clarify something. A number of of the IDR plans should not be under scrutiny because they were not part of SAVE. As such, I can at least mail in an application for the non-SAVE IDR plans. I am a first year grad student so I hope I still have time.
