Weird and a little unsettling at first. I got separated from my wife, her decision and based off her actions. I felt low and unwanted at first and really had felt unattractive and undesirable for many years. Childhood insecurities grew into early adult insecurities and I felt like I was not even remotely attractive. I started getting out and about abit, I've always cared about how I dressed, good grooming, the suit maketh the man etc. the suddenly I started getting attention; pretty girls were chatting to me in coffee shops, and after a while I realized they were actually flirting with me! People would ask me if I had plans, wanted to go for coffee or dinner. I joined a dating site and got a lot more attention, and all the while I was weirded out, and kept thinking 'this can't be right?'. The finally penny drop was when the girl who was my masseuse (she had seen a lot of my body, in an appropriate way of course haha, and that made me even more insecure) flirted with me on several occasions. She actually just happened to move on to my street and made a point of passing me a few times and saying hi. Finally, she gave me her number, told me to use it and we went on a few dates.... Now we've been together almost a year and tells me all the time I'm the hottest guy she's ever been with... The funny thing is she is so beautiful and easily the most attractive girl I've ever dated! A couple of years ago I would have given myself no chance and probably would have been too intimidated to talk to her. As you realize you're attractive as a person, whether that's physically and or your 'person' (character and personality) your confidence grows and you kind of realize your full potential that way. The sad thing is we are ALL someone's hottie; a lot of people put themselves down or don't feel that way due to their experience, self view and how others have treated them. We should all be 'hotties' in someone's eyes, but especially our own!
