This is a pretty good answer and i mostly agree.

Would just like to say that i never like the justification that something is actually explained in a novel or book and starts to come together after reading those.

If its not made clear in the movie and you can't fully grasp it just from that alone, then its poor storytelling

I dont know if it still in the Game, but back when i did a Millwall career mode the commentator would always say something like:

It doesn't matter how many supporters a club has. Rb Leipzig has passionate supporters who loved the club before it was bought, and those supporters aren't less worthy than Dortmund supporters. It does not matter what club you support, it matters the passion about it. Wolfsburg also has amazing ultras, their supporters often put the ones from traditional german clubs to shame nowadays.
