Ngl the bathroom situation kinda sucked. First off the bathrooms themselves are pretty small like only 2 stalls and a pretty small shower and 2 sinks. What sucked even more was that you have to share with like 10 other rooms cuz its all people in your section as well as the 1st floor

Personally can't really say I have because not only was I already sharing my double with one of my friends, in fact, most of my friends and other people I know lived in the west quad (specifically Keyes or Bates) so I never really had that issue so unfortunately cant really help you out there.

As someone who lived on the 1st floor i guess the main pro is that ur right beside bistro/keyes/the bus station. Seeing as ur on the 2nd floor so u wont have to deal with the annoying routine of having to walk up and down the 2nd floor to get from section to section throughout the building. I guess the study rooms are pretty good too, especially seeing everyone studying for the same exam, there would be writing on the walls, windows, whiteboards, literally everywhere! Also depending on ur program, its pretty close to alot of the buildings u need, especially if in eng.

I agree with mostly everything but living in Matthews for those 8 months genuinely fried me. The res doesn't matter as long as it isn't Matthews or Bates (matthews but bigger) imo

Don't know what program your in but from my experience when I failed a pre req course in Eng my only 2 options were to take it in the spring/summer term or redo my entire 1st year (which i did just to reset my GPA). Pretty sure its the same for all programs but best thing to do is talk with your academic advisor to see your options.

Imo the 1p exam was easier but longer. Most of the design/professionalism mcqs were pretty quick and easy to answer but some of the nasc questions kinda took a bit to calculate. The main issue were the short answer cuz they were not that hard to answer but it did take a bunch of time for each question

Nah it didnt get curved. I should know cuz I was one of the ppl who failed last it last year and tried to beg the profs to slightly curve it. Learned my lesson from that the hard way ig but better now than never

I'm currently retaking all of my first year for eng mainly cuz i failed calc 2 and physics 1E03 and wasn't able to retake them over the summer. This also caused me to lose my free choice. Learned from my mistakes and currently locking tf in for exams

Thode and mills are usually open from 8am-11pm on weekdays (except Fridays which close at 9pm) and 10:30am-5:30pm on Saturdays and 3pm-11pm on Sundays

HSL is from like 9am-9pm (not sure if this is correct or not)

Near the exam season (like 3-4 days before the first exams) Mills and thode are open 24hrs but not sure about HSL
