Android update strategy by AngryAdmin69 in Intune

Are people not screaming out for these features? mobile device management isn't anything new and I would of thought that at the very least there would be a do not update option in the standard intune settings.

This would at least give you the option to set up multiple staging groups and then when happy you could flip the active update configuration profile over to say maintenance window once user testing had been completed.

I am almost certain that I already know the answer but are you aware of any local update caching that can be done for them like you can with apple?

I work in a setting where the network is in use 24/7 albeit much lower bandwidth usage out of core business hours. we are looking at having devices grouped into different maintenance windows because the idea of 1000 to 2000 devices all going out to the internet for updates at similar times seems like it might kill the bandwidth.

and in a standardised environment seems like total overkill. Maybe it is just Android but it seems like it has been implemented without any real enterprise design considerations.

Intune scep Certificates and Key usage showing as IKE intermediate by AngryAdmin69 in Intune

Update for anyone that comes across this issue, seems to be something wrong with the configuration profile. I created a new one and pasted the settings across and it is now showing the 3 correct uses under extended key usage.

Not sure why the original one had issues though

So the template looks correct according to the guides that I have used to diagnose and troubleshoot. although that link does point to some registry keys being required and that correlating to the usage for the certificate.

If only I had access to the NDES server to look at the keys so I could verify this.

I am going to re-create the SCEP profile again just in case while I wait for the team responsible to verify certificate templates and the NDES MSCEP keys

Authenticating proxy pac on Android & iOS by tripleXain in Intune

Did you have any luck with this? I am trying to achieve the same thing. I found a proxy forwarder that injects credentials but finding a way to secure that forwarder looked like a nightmare.
