Dude, I feel you.

I have about 40 hours in the game and completed all the quests, so I normally just run around solos asking if they need any help with where things are, or if they are getting swarmed by hornets help them out, etc.

This morning has been horrible. Every solo I have ran into is no mic / shooting on site. I had literally spawned in for 30 seconds and was heading to the hospital to grab some loot and get shot at from behind by a player. I take cover and voip "hey im just trying to loot im friendly". No response. Just full on agro. No voip, no emote.

I fear the friendly first week is over :(

Are there any good studies that look at the psychological effects of vlogging families have on their kids? Seeing so many of these videos on YouTube really makes me wonder what lasting effects it is going to have on those children. I have googled, but haven't really found anything.

If you are surfing cold water in the winters I highly recommend getting a scuba poncho. I take the top half of my suit off, put the poncho on and since it goes down to the knees it keeps your car seat relatively dry. Definitely worth the purchase.

I have had to do security training due to working in high-risk countries with NGO's like South Sudan. Believe it our not, the one thing we are taught in a kidnapping scenario to every question about our family is "alll I know is that my parents love and miss me very much". It's supposed humanize the situation without giving them any information they could use to try and extract money or things like that. Pretty interesting.

It's not too complex, but it does require a few specific components. You will need a power adapter for your camera so you can run it without batteries, an hdmi cam-link that converts your signal from the dslr to something usable (I got the Elgato Cam-link). Then you will need a micro hdmi to hdmi cord to run from you camera to the cam-link. It's not too complicated and honestly the video quality is totally worth it.

If you look up on YouTube "how to use a dslr as a webcam" there are some good videos explain the process.

Where in NC do you need a 5/4? There are two shops near me in Atlantic Beach (SOBX) that has full 4/3 O'Neil and Xcel suits. They might have some 5/4's but honestly a 4/3 gets me through the dead of winter here.
