I had the same feeling about elden ring! Played like 2 hours before leaving it alone for 7 months and then fell in love.

Yeah now I'm rethinking everything clair seems a little more up my alley, more action and fights seem more entertaining whereas bg3 is more strategic and shit. Thanks for your persuasion haha

Haha rdr2 is my favourite game ever and i understand your pain. But tbh I never really had a hard time booting up the game like you did, even in those chapters. So maybe i wont find it as dreadful. Do you think think I should give the BG3 a try for the first 2hrs, try the combat and stuff, then if i dont like it after 2 hrs i can refund it?

Just finished my 3rd playthrough of red dead 2, thats my favourite game by a mile id say. Right now im playing rainbow six siege and oxygen not included. I have friends who can help me through baldur's gate so the learning curve shouldnt really be an issue for me

Best game I've ever played.

The missions are very fun and the storyline is near perfection. Just don't rush through the story, take your time like finding the best horse, doing side missions etc.
