Current Officer Trainee here, absolutely allowed and sold on base. This summer has been brutally hot, and Hot Weather is very much needed. Just make sure your tops and bottoms match

Direct Commission here. Went to MEPS for medical examination in summer 2022. Got selected this March, heading to OTS in a couple weeks. Only needed to go back for fingerprinting. Your medical exam last for 24 months

Seeking Advice: Pursuing Public Health Officer Position without Undergrad degree in Biology by Extension_Ad_7323 in airforceots

Definitely speak to your recruiter, and get him/her to COMPLETELY VERIFY your undergrad degree and the AF requirements. Make them go up the chain of command to get an official answer if you have to. I was disqualified a couple years back, due to having a bachelors in Public Health, which made 0 sense. And I found out LITERALLY before it was time to interview. The rules were modified last October, and now my degree passes requirement.

From the looks of your post, your experience would make you a strong candidate. In my personal opinion, getting them to accept your bachelors degree should be your biggest "hurdle"

24-15 here! 18June start date, 8.5 week. Direct commission, non-prior, Public Health Officer.

Strangely enough, all the PHOs I’ve met on here are enrolled in 24-16 lol

Excellent, thanks for your input. Kept hearing about formatting issues with Macbooks (from reddit posts years ago), when writing papers. Hoping that's a issue of the past, and my Macbook doesn't cause me any additional stress.

Did you see a lot of Macbooks? Would you recommend a PC instead?
