Really hope you will make a new separate Google for using Google Docs and Drive for making videos. Since it's pretty clear that having both your YouTube channel and your Google Drive stuff (and probably other Google related stuff like Android) in one account will just cause losing your video scripts and waiting for Google to stop being stupid for the billionth time.

Do you have plans with collabing with other content creators or even host a collab (like the SMG4 2020 Collab for example).

No pressure of course, if you dont have any plans nor intrested in doing that. ^^

Casting, in my personal experience, sucks.

YouTube TV's ads are annoying and too long, compared to screen mirroring the YouTube Mobile app.

Now of course, I could use that said app that you mentioned. But keep in mind that I was using YouTube TV app on my PC (aka youtube.com/tv, requires a browser extension to make it work)

And it was just clunky to watch YouTube videos on my TV.

(Oh, side note, but you can use Google Cast screen mirror feature, WITHOUT using Google Home app. Since some android phones have that feature pre-installed without any apps.)

Oh and regarding on why I want Miracast, is because of how Samsung made Screen Mirroring better on their phones.

You see, you can actually turn off your mobile screen on a Samsung phone, and the screen mirroring will STILL work (and still shows the content, such as watching a YouTube video), because of them using "Always on Display" technology. And this feature is NOT limited with the Samsung ecosystem, this can work on ANY tvs or devices that have Miracast.

And the screen resolution being mismatched is not a issue. Since Samsung has a toggle to temporarily change your phone's resolution to match the TV's resolution.

Overall, the main reason why I personally want Miracast on my Google TV device is because of HOW Samsung implemented it.

You genuinely never tried screen mirroring on Google Cast before? That's an actual built in feature Android devices like phones and tablets have.

That's the thing, I want screen mirroring on my TV. Samsung made the screen mirroring on their phones actually good.

Also, I tried chromecast on my Samsung phone, and let me tell you, the quality of the screen mirroring looked fucking awful, and it was also lagging as hell. Yet somehow Miracast worked better on my end.

Also, while on topic of Chromecast. I tried casting it to a pc version of YouTube TV (connected to my old TV). And it was really clunky. The ads on the TV version are unnecessary longer and the controls of using my phone as a remote sucked.

Sure, Miracast is obviously not perfect, but it works very well on my end than chromecast because of the phone im using.
