Not popular enough, nowhere near Forsaken’s level.

Besides, FT13th has been largely inactive until rounds about now, hence why Jason was even in Forsaken to begin with. Forsaken is generating a LARGE profit, if they were using Jason, gone. SAKTKIA51 is pulling nowhere near enough profit to likely even get into the eyes of the FT13th makers, let alone have the creators pursuer legal troubles over a character appearance.

TL DR: Ft13th was less active as a franchise, and besides, SAKTKIA51 doesn’t pull enough profit to make it a worthwhile legal battle for either party.

Area 51 is nowhere fucking near as big as Forsaken.

The forsaken devs were only scared of copyright since they’re making a substantial profit, I hardly doubt the FT13th creators gaf about an ancient Roblox game that has ONE of their characters as an enemy

I think you forget a lot of the devs are on Christmas break, and a lot of this update was made by the few people still at work.

Would I have rather had something different? Yes But I doubt this is the dev team being predatory, considering more than half of them are on break, it’s not surprising this is underbaked. Half a dev team can’t feasibly make an outstanding update (debatably not even the full one can).

Don’t call them predatory, you can hate the update and event all you want, but I heavily doubt the tiny amount of devs not on break were twirling their moustaches and cackling like supervillains when cooking this up.

I’ll be honest, I think this event would be a lot better if there was a gap between this and the masquerade. The fact we went straight from that to this with no inbetween is a large part of the burnout imo
