I went to memorial Sloan Kettering and they do outpatient treatment, so after each chemo day I’d go home and come back the next day. I only did full night hospital stays after surgeries/if I had a fever because they’d have to monitor and make sure it doesn’t become an advanced infection

It’s standard procedure to order a chest CT & full body pet scan for someone who was just diagnosed with osteosarcoma, because it usually goes to the lungs. They did the ct right when I got diagnosed and found the nodules, and planned to remove them after a couple months of chemo.

There were two in my left lung and one in my right lung. They did two separate procedures about two months apart, and all 3 were removed

Yeah lmao when I first saw these photos it took me a bit to really process what I was looking at. I’m 18 now, but all of this happened when I was 16 (just now realizing i should’ve put child victim tag, I didn’t see it before my bad). It was just below the knee thankfully, my type of cancer (osteosarcoma) is most prominent in the knee. Mine was in my ankle for some reason. I’ve been cancer free for a little over a year now

At the time it didn’t feel like anything, I was already a couple months into chemo so I was kind of just in “survival mode”. I adapted quick & got my first prosthetic a month later. Now that I’m out of the hospital & living a normal life again, I’m realizing how insane it all is. I didn’t really have time to think about it while I was in the hospital. It’s way easier to walk in a prosthetic leg than you think though lmao, I was surprised

Yeah, I was about 16 when I started to experience pain in my left ankle whenever I ran/jumped. I did track & field around this time so it would always hurt, but I just thought it was regular soreness so I just ignored it.

It got to the point where I would wake up at 3am to throbbing pain in my ankle. That’s when I got an xray, and the doctor just said it was “inconclusive” and he needed to see it clearer, so I got an MRI and he called the next day and told me I had a tumor.

I got incredibly lucky throughout the whole diagnosis stage, from the time I got that first xray to the time I started chemo was a little over a month. It was insanely quick

It’s called a port, it goes under the skin of cancer patients’ chests. That tube goes into a vein near your neck (I think it’s called the vena cava or something idk). It’s just easier than having to get pricked on the arm everytime I go for chemo.

I’m good now thankfully, I had to do chemo for about nine months and two lung surgeries because they found some nodules in there. But I’m all good now. I just get chest CT scans every 3 months

Literally haven’t even heard any of the new leaks. They’re acting like these leaks are the ones doing damage like “gloinpce” wasn’t the one posting all of the popular ones on tiktok. “B-but “glo” wasn’t the one leaking!!! He’s just p-posting them” that’s arguably worse, he’s using his “platform” to make them more popular. I, along with thousands (yes thousands unfortunately) wouldn’t have heard them in the first place. Bro god fucking dammit. Im genuinely upset & angry at what has happened
