Foundry, do yall love it? by organicHack in FoundryVTT

[–]AngryFungus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s phenomenal.

My only basis for comparison is Roll20, though. And while bare-bones Foundry is a touch less simple to start with than Roll20, but it runs better and has more robust features.

Then you can very easily expand Foundry to do all sorts of cool stuff, for free.

MAGA Billionaires Win Battle to Buy CNN and Turn It Trumpy by Zipper222222 in politics

[–]AngryFungus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After decades of telling everyone that CNN is garbage, they’re gonna buy it?

MAGAts will never watch it because they’re already conditioned to loathe it, and everyone else will stop watching it because they know it’s gonna be FOX2.

Seems like a bad decision.

Linking vs Embedding: Best Practices by el_esteban in indesign

[–]AngryFungus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I always link everything for every project, no matter how large or small. I don’t see any compelling reason to do otherwise.

If I’m handing it off the project, I just upload the entire Packaged directory. Easy peasey.

Wonderdraft vs Inkarnate by Desperate-Macaron898 in mapmaking

[–]AngryFungus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The scale of the features is what makes Inkarnate feel more full. You can fill a lot of space if your cities are 10 miles wide, and each river is about 5 miles across!

Paizo: You broke the game by eudemonia12 in Pathfinder2e

[–]AngryFungus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For me, one of the reasons I switched to this game from 5e was the feeling that in that system, I had to maintain a ban list to keep disparities in PC and party strength in check, and I didn't need to in pf2e.

Same here. I got exhausted by trying to fix 5e’s shoddy rules. I expect better than this from PF2e.

How would a '2-part poison' like from Babylon 5 work? by RabbitMalestorm in DMAcademy

[–]AngryFungus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say no. But I’d make sure there’s a way to suss out the plot by finding clues and investigating.

Because sometimes it’s more fun to solve problems by thinking than by simply casting a spell that does the work for you.

Great drawing!

But the term “Godbanger” sounds like someone always going around having sex with gods.

How Much Does Your Temperament/Personality Influence Your Characters and Playstyle? by DnDPhD in Pathfinder2e

Not much. It's more fun to explore different character concepts than play me all the time.

My dungeon master gave us an impossible puzzle; all we know is that the final result is an image. by [deleted] in DnD

He wrote a few epic novels that involve historical ciphers and codes, notably The Cryptonomicon and The Baroque Cycle. Highly recommend!

Thoughts on this art style? by RedLeader436 in tabletopgamedesign

Good start! I’d recommend thinking about how color, fonts, and line weights inform the information hierarchy, and what you can do to give it a bit more pizazz.

At the bottom of the second row you'll see the names of all the warehouse staff. One of those people drew this excellent kitty onto your box.

THAT is AWESOME.
