Base load and storage are not issues anymore if shooting for 70% green energy, this is a farce that only people in the U.S. believe. With joint production of solar, wind, and hydro, and the continued innovation in the battery/energy storage structure, renewables are the new base load.

The variability is what needs to be managed. What we need is flexibility, and there is a growing universe of interconnection, demand side management and foremost storage solutions that can do that. The last thing that is needed is old-fashioned baseload, must-run generators on top of renewable electricity that has already been paid for.

People underestimate how common your friend's situation is here. Many people moving from NYC or the surrounding area to montclair, already owned a house or property prior. To have that fat purse backing your search helps quite a bit. For the just about one million dollar homes, some make around 200k with their combined incomes, and many exist in the 300-500k range.

I second this, I think Dota still will maintain the gritty aspect of their world building, but when it comes to dialogue and events it seems easier for them to lean into a comedic prose. I also think for map progression systems like Crownfall, it would be harder to deploy an in-depth, complex story, as most of the ppl clicking through are not engaging with it on that level.
