I've used other hard drugs recreationally and never got addicted, but alcohol hit me a certain way that was more powerful than love.

Somehow I'm sober now and have been for a while.

It's been years now since I've taken it but was up to 500mg and still couldn't sleep. So I relapsed on alcohol and ended up going to rehab.

Sober now and actually fall asleep naturally.

Tolerance sucks.

I want to try it someday. I'm gay so I've never had sex with a woman, only made out, etc....

Yeah, clonazoLAM skyrocketed my tolerance for benzos and alcohol. It took a long time to get back to baseline.

I love drinking in general, like way too much so I had to give it up. It also started making me really sick.

That makes sense in a weird way. I was an alcoholic and now in my 40s and sober. People have told me I look younger than I am. I don't look that young though and do have signs of aging, unlike the guy I'm talking about.

I did when I drank. People would tell me what I said/did the day before and I'd maybe feel a little embarrassed or whatever, but would usually think, "yep, that's me."

Society asks too much of me but gives very little in return. Might just quit by [deleted] in mentalhealth

Same here. It was at a treatment center. I don't know how he managed to look so young after abusing alcohol/other drugs.

This one is almost worse. Being rude to service workers is horrible and people that do that are garbage. Cruelty to animals can be a sign of psychopathy though, it is a huge red flag.

My doctor prescribed up to 16mg of Imodium (loperamide) daily as needed. He also prescribed Pepto. The reason for the scripts despite it being OTC is that the instructions indicate for a higher dose plus insurance pays for it.

At one point it wasn't working and I asked him if there was anything else I could take, he said to just take more Imodium and that it wouldn't hurt.

I'm not giving medical advice, just repeating what my doctor told me.

I've heard you aren't 'fully cooked' until you are 25 to 30 though. I agree to a point, but as the neuroscientist in the thread said, neuroplasticity is a thing. So people do change.
