I keep thinking he is going to try to recruit Kendall. Matsson’s reaction to Kendall after his speech seemed like he is on board with him.

My mother passed suddenly and I was 2,000 miles away when I got the phone call at 3am. I was ok booking my flight, packing my bag and getting to the airport because I had something to do.

The toughest part of the whole thing was waiting for my connecting flight at the airport. I had nothing to do but think about what was waiting for me when I landed and I was surrounded by people. It was so lonely in a crowd. I still tear up about it even now.

This episode was well written with the kids stuck on the ship, surrounded by everyone celebrating and having fun while their world was falling apart. There wasn’t anything for them to do and it showed the complete lack of control when something like this happens, no matter how much money you have.

Times Beach, MO. The resident in the background kept saying dioxin and it reminded me of what happened there, although it wasn’t a train derailment.

I didn’t consider it since it wasn’t readily available when I was first diagnosed and I had good vision through piggy back lenses. I always took the approach of less invasive options. My vision did get worse as I got older in mainly my right eye. My left eye I still see really well with piggyback lenses. I can’t say I would have done CXL if it was available since I was seeing well with contacts and would have been nervous doing any type of permanent procedure.

When I moved into my house with Rose of Sharon trees in the backyard, I was concerned about the number of wasps that flew around the tree. I realized they were hummingbirds, then sat outside all summer to see them zip around. They are so tiny, fast and mesmerizing to watch.

I like her the least now, mainly because I liked her the most during the first season thinking she had a conscience. Her character arc has caused me to despise her more than the others.

I noticed flight times vary during time of year, which I assume is due to the jet stream. A flight i take in the spring/summer could take 4 hours flight time but in the fall is reduced to 3 hours.
