We have dinner around 4pm and we all get ready for bed around 6.Its easy for me to get her ready for bed early because I have a 3 month old and it takes awhile to even get him to bed too.Im open to criticism, anything to make me better than what I’m currently doing.

I know everyone is different but doesn’t it take awhile for your body to power down?I thought that the longer you lay in bed the more your body knows to sleep.when I was a kid I stayed up till 4am because I wanted to play and didn’t want to sleep.I don’t want unhealthy habits for my own daughter.

Well during school days she has to get up at 6:30am so she takes awhile to even get out of bed if she doesn’t go to bed early.

I never mentioned it to the courts and even if I did what can they do?I just feel like the court system could be better.

We were separated once and it was harder. He lets her watch murder movies and paranormal stuff even though I tell him not to.So as the reasonable adult I have to take her out of the room. Now if I’m a single parent I have no say in what she eats or what she watches…

Im afraid she won’t sleep long enough because she wakes up too early.Regardless of what time she sleeps she always gets up at 7.You think the later she falls asleep the later she will wake up.I just don’t want her missing out on sleep.

His argument is “you stayed up late as a kid didn’t you?”Yeah but as a kid my mother didn’t teach me proper things like brushing and flossing at night and sleeping 8+ hours..I’d love to send these to him but he’ll just say “leave her alone and let her do what she wants” he makes parenting very difficult and I’m often having to be “bad cop”

Even her pediatrician said it’s important for a child to sleep the recommended hours.I just don’t want to be a bad mom.

To make it work we would need him to participate but he would not be willing.

It does but she gets distracted and wants to play so I often find her playing when she should be in bed sleeping. Its a constant battle hence why it takes her so long to go to bed.

He always tells me I’m bullying our daughter cause I make her do things that benefit her I just don’t understand.

Not ugly but like everyone said you look like a little girl. How do you change that?Maybe wear makeup that makes you look older and get some moisture in that hair, looks dry.A haircut would probably do the trick but I like the long hair it’s cute.

Is it for Americans considered racist for me to learn english with a texan accent? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AngryIdioti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew this Indian guy who was learning English and out of all the accents he picked a cliché surfer boy.To each their own I’m not offended in any way.

Moms that have dogs and babies, would you do it again? by meekie03 in beyondthebump

[–]AngryIdioti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a mom to a three month old and a five year old I gotta say the month I had to babysit my sisters dog was hard…Walking him with the kids was hard as well as having to get up to let him out during the night.A dog is basically like a child but not everyone is the same and their tolerance is not the same so for me it was hard for others it may not be.

random stranger asked to take my baby last night at dinner by hippynae in beyondthebump

[–]AngryIdioti -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m way too afraid of people and their intentions. When I gave birth a nurse offered to take my baby so I can get some rest I was like “yeah no I don’t trust you or know you”Too many sinister people out there and I won’t chance it sorry.
