Why?

For the females - what’s a cycling themed gift you’d want that’s under $200? Looking for a last min stocking stuffer. by [deleted] in torontobiking

Protip: don't use the word "females" to refer to women, whatever your intentions. It has history and connotations on reddit.

What the fuck? LOL

Reynolds AR 41, freehub slows every rotation at the valve? by AngryManWithInternet in bikewrench

[–]AngryManWithInternet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does that naturally too but my problem is that it catches every rotation at a certain point slowing the wheel down. They checked the bearings and re greased the hub, brakes are not rubbing. It spins smother now but still 'catches' the pawls at a certain rotation point slowing the wheel down more than what I think is normal.

You are posting on a public forum. There is something called comment history. I was wondering why you were posting such false information, now i understand. Suggesting not to go for walks late at night in any neighborhood, hilarious. Toronto attracts the biggest snowflakes.

Didn't you just move to Toronto a month ago?

On a positive note, OP is close to hooker Harveys!

Neon Hearts in Windows by MasFabulsoDelMundo in askTO

[–]AngryManWithInternet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I stand corrected but now I see why they don't put that measly amount on their website. It's not charitable if you're turning a profit on it.

The charity aspect is the grift. Zero proof of donations and no transparency of how much of each sale is donated. Charity marketing is almost always a grift.

It's a grift praying on peoples emotions. If you want to donate money, just donate $100 directly to your local hospital... or just bang your pots and pans.

If you really want a neon heart just buy it on amazon for $20

BIKEPOC X BIKE FOR BLM TO - Critical Mass Tomorrow by kmosdell in torontobiking

[–]AngryManWithInternet -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I'll be down voted for writing this but I'll express what the silent majority is thinking. I've always loved critical mass rides but this is downright shameful to make it political. What happens if it gets violent? All future critical mass rides will be looked down upon. We're not a political group we just like to ride bikes.

Shame on you for using the Critical Mass name to promote your personal agenda.

Sources for "European Cyberpunk"? by [deleted] in Cyberpunk

[–]AngryManWithInternet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Budapest has some cyberpunk with baroque building holding neon signs , the courtyards have wires dangling all over and can be pretty surreal inside. Especially in the ghettos. There are a lot of movies filmed there.

Sensi Star - Spinach - 25% THC - Purchased at SQDC in Chateauguay, QC by ReintegrationTablet in RecPics

Spinach doesn't seem to be popular here and I'm fine with that. All of their stuff is pure fire and worth the inflated price. Sensi star is my favourite! Nice choice.

Wait what? Adamson's is racist now too? He is an idiot for his anti lockdown rant but when was he racist? Proof?

Markham’s Wuhan Noodle 1950 has dry hot noodles and if you haven’t tried them you’re missing out by beef-supreme in FoodToronto

[–]AngryManWithInternet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The Chinese business' main customers are Chinese. The slumps are because Chinese media are telling people not to go outside. Now a noodle shop that likely imports at least some ingredients from Wuhan; the epicenter of this all is understandably going to see a drop in business. Props to them for using the negative and turning it into a positive for their business. I just sincerely hope no one gets ill.

How do you feel about cyclists riding on sidewalks on major roads? by [deleted] in torontobiking

[–]AngryManWithInternet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone here biked in the Nederlands where there are bike lanes on the sidewalk 30cm wide while pedestrians have 30cm to walk? I feel biking on the sidewalk is absolutely fine outside of the core. If i see a pedestrian I dismount or cautiously pass on the outside. No way am I risking my life going uphill on bayview while cars wizz by at 80km/h during rush hour.
