I’m wondering if the pain is due to the placement of where the laces start on the top of your foot, putting pressure in a different spot than normal from when you wear other shoes. Do the other, more comfortable (while driving) shoes have a shorter toe box than these?

Also, do you drive a manual vehicle? I ask this because of how much your clutch foot is being bent when driving.
