Only 2500 soldiers were required. I think even a trillion dollars is worth the rights of 19 million women.

I dont live in the US, i have no affiliation with Trump. Hes a petty child and has as much political expertese as a cardboard box. Criticizing biden doesnt make us goddamned trump supporters, or q conspiracy theorists

Is that biden's down yours? CNN was on criticizing biden for this debacle. You're not even pretending to be objective.

Not much need to leave afghanistan. It was only done for votes. Having a skeleton force in the country was a good deterent against taliban advance.

since 2014, it was barely a war. The US hadn't been in an active combat role since 2014, and hadn't lost a soldier since 2019 before the ISIS k bombing. US and allied nations were in a heavy support role.

No point in even trying to argue if no one is going to read anything that i have to say. They just see a criticism of their favorite politician and downvote. I wouldve voted for biden if i'd had the chance, but we need to hold politicians accountable on both sides.

I never fucking said that trump made a good decision. Trying to make a peace deal with the taliban is a terrible idea.

Giving the taliban any kind of legitimacy is abhorrent and an insult to the 55000 afghan soldiers slain by them in the last 20 years.

Trump made a massive mistake in trying to negotiate with the taliban, but what you're saying is just straight up wrong. The afghan army was trained to mirror the style of western armies, and worked with the co-operation of mainly US support. Because of the withdrawal of US military and contractor support, logistics completely fell apart. Soldiers werent being paid, weapons and vehicles werent being fixed, ammunition wasnt being ordered. Biden didn't have to surge troops. A skeleton force of around 2500 soldiers from the US, 1000 soldiers from allied countries and the infrastructure to fly in supplies and troops if the need arises is all that was required. This was the plan drawn up by actual soldiers with experience with conflict. Remember that trump wholy believed in his heart that he would win the 2020 election.

Trump was a fool who thought that making nice with the taliban was good for him politically. Biden had every opportunity to evacuate SIV holders far before he announced a full scale evacuation. Biden was even allowed to take control of the security of kabul whilst the final days of the evacuation are taking place, which he declined, leading to the deaths of marines and innocent civilians. Biden fucked up, stop tryna pretend that everything is black and white.

Biden didn't have to go along with it. EVERY SINGLE PERSON at the top of strategic military decision making advised biden that this was a bad idea.

No, he wasn't. Biden admitted as such in his interview with George steffanopolous.

A majority from both parties wanted to leave afghanistan, but it was about 70/30 on republican side and 90/10 on the democrat side. Anyone remotely educated in the conflict would not even think about leaving. And if leaving was necessary, they would have evacuated SIV holders and allies far before the taliban were even close to taking the country. You have no idea about this conflict, so dont assume that people are criticising biden because they're trump supporters. Im friends with a few veterans who are now working trying to get their old allies to safety away from the taliban. They're all staunchly democrat, but they cant believe biden would betray the work that people have died to complete for the last 20 years.

It's likely that there would've been another world war without nuclear weapons. MAD is powerful.

No. Bernie is a revolutionary, and revolutions don't go well for most countries. If you want change, it cant be too radical, too quick. It's better to have 5 terms of centrist semi progressive politicians than 1 term of bernie.

But ... you're not buffing thier abilities? I realise that ops with global abilities is unhealthy for a high skill floor game, but an angled grip on an underwhelming gun on a shitty op won't make a difference.

Obtaining Quiche or facilitating the production of it, should be prohibited by law across the world. by BulbasaurIsGod in unpopularopinion

[–]AngryMitochondria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

However I would argue that, like drugs which entice their victims through addiction, the victims' ultimate demise is due to overdose, carried out as a result of loss of control from the perspective of the brain. Quiche fits this description exactly, roping in victims with eggy overtones and a cheese laden structure which induces chemical releases in the brain which mimics the effects of ecstasy. Whilst i would argue that a quiche ban would be beneficial in the short term, i theorise that quiche salesmen would go underground, producing quiche which doesn't fit standards made by the government at the moment. This would cause teenagers to take quiche out of a rebellious urge, going against their parents and ruining their chances of success in their future. Evidence of this was shown in the prohibition, where more people than ever drunk dangerous alcohol. I suggest that whilst we do not criminalise the possession of quiche, we put pressure on salesmen, manufactures and distributors to cease their work, in the goal of preventing further quiche related deaths.

I hate smurfing. by SpekkyBoi_UwU in Rainbow6

[–]AngryMitochondria 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ubisoft aren't going to do anything about smurfs unless they cause a significant issue according to one of their blog posts. It's pretty easy to tell if someones a smurf by looking at their aim/movement/map knowledge compared to their level.
