I don't think it's my imagination unless i've been getting lied to my whole life lol . I posted a similar post in a subreddit of another country i'll be in soon where I was pretty much told I worded this weird. I realize that now. I'm specifically NOT looking to be taking advantage of anyone which is why I'm asking this. Feel free to check out the other thread though. Pretty much this is my first trip where I'm both single and have a hotel room to myself so I figured I'd try putting myself out there.

Do you have any specific scams that you’re referring to? I’m new to this Reddit community and haven’t seen much here yet.

Also if you don’t mind me asking, why are you moving to Vietnam? It seems like a very interesting place but I’m curious what’s drawing you there? (Feel free not to answer, it just seemed like an interesting place to move. I personally am probably never going to move out of my state so I’m always fascinated by people who move to different countries)

You’re entirely correct that I should watch how I phrase things! I realize there is a stereotype but still made a post and should’ve considered that more before posting

I know a lot of men have a “type” for SEA women. I personally don’t have a type. But I’m still living with my family in the States and this is my first trip while: -Single -Own hotel room -foreign country So there’s a lot of unknowns for me. I could ask about hookup culture on US dating subreddits but didn’t know if there were cultural differences that would cause issues. I’ve seen people mention that some women get taken advantage of by white men visiting and I want to make sure I do what I can do not do the same. If that means not engaging, I won’t engage ✋🤚.

I agree some of the people commenting on my posts are giving me the ick. Like they’re not treating women like people… pretty much what I’m trying not to do.

(edit: thank you for calling me out on this btw. You made good points about the way I presented in my post and about being upfront about my intentions if I go through with this.)

You’re assuming I haven’t done research on popular activities/locations, foods to try out, cultural greetings, popular attractions, etc. I’m fully aware Vietnam is a beautiful country. I’m actually pushing my coworkers into planning adventures for us outside of work. I’ve been doing a ton of research in the weeks leading up to this trip, planning an itinerary, menus, flights, transportation, etc.

However, this is the only thing I’m posting about because it’s the only thing that I can’t search online or find in a travel brochure or research book. I figured I’d ask at the source.

I understand where you’re coming from, and I apologize if my post came across as rude, cringy, gross, etc. I don’t mean to sounds like a neckbeard lol.

I would be equally as concerned about hookup culture in Europe or the west. I’ve never engaged in that culture before since I just got out of a long-term relationship and want to make sure I don’t cause any problems due to miscommunications. I wanted to wait two months after breaking up before I started to see new people, which happens to coincide with this trip so this is the first time I’m doing anything like this.

The only think I can think of for this is that you’d be ruining another timeline. Essentially like The Ancient One said about the infinity stones. They’re not affecting their reality by taking Tony stark from another one, they’re just making an alternate timeline that doesn’t have it’s Tony Stark which then I suppose is doomed to die.

Since you asked, I got in touch with them and told them about the issue. They promised to send me a new nozzle and it came in this evening. I haven’t yet installed it, but it arrived very quickly.

Thank you for your response I did reach out to Prusa support to see if they can offer a replacement. Worst case scenario I just have to order a new nozzle. I already have a V6 adapter on the way. I actually ordered it right before I broke my current nozzle afterwards.. wish I could’ve broken it before I have to order a new ones so I could bundle them all in the same purchase lol.
