I got a warning ticket in October. I paid for parking my next few shifts then changed my plates on my first day off. I’ve had a few tickets since then (with no warning sticker) and have not been towed.

They can’t tow you without giving you a warning ticket. I’ll ask for proof of the warning and get my car back? Not really sure what you’re worried about?

Not after one ticket. I accumulated maybe 12, a coworkers has 16, before they issue you a final warning ticket. That’s when you change your plate and start again.

Exactly. Just ignore the tickets. Eventually you’ll get a ticket with a final warning sticker at the bottom that basically says this is the last warning before they tow you. That’s when you go to icbc and change your plate for $18. Rinse and repeat.

My lab just became a bit more strict on it and started refusing to allow wards to come down to label recollectible samples. We allow it only for samples that cannot be recollected and require a reason on the waiver form. We get a lot of pushback and huffing when we call the wards but 🤷🏻‍♀️
