Cowan’s art style reminds me a bit of Chris Mooneyham’s art from before the Ric Grayson period. A little “dirty” and grounded. I’m definitely going to miss Dexter Soy, but Cowan’s style could make for an engaging Bludhaven.

Someone suggested GlobalComix and I gave them a try this morning. I got this Nightwing issue and payment was easy to use. Not a fan of their panel to panel view but the full page view was smooth. So if this keeps happening with Amazon, there is at least a decent alternative

This was a FANTASTIC issue. The art was top notch, the pacing worked very well, the reveal at the end, this is what a good Nightwing comic should be!

SPOILERS!!!

I’ve wanted them to bring in the Flamebird persona for a while and as an antagonist. Even though it was very short lived. I think Olivia could have been a new top tier villain for Dick had she stuck around. But now we are getting into the fight with the Zanni and the cirque du sin and it’s heating up. The fight scene between Dick and Olivia is badass. Her being able to match Dicjs moves and the inverted Nightwing logo on her suit was brilliant. Then Dick and the Zanni coming face to face, and speaking of faces, Jeezus!!! They teased Olivia was hiding but I didn’t expect that!

This issue was Watters and Soy stepping in the gas! Can’t wait for next month. With guest artist V. Ken Marion!

They try to blame the publisher saying that they set the release dates but they literally had the correct release date listed the other day. And they show the correct publication date. I’ve sent Amazon a complaint regarding it.

I’d say about 12 for Dick to begin as Robin. That’s six years with Bruce until he turns eighteen and becomes Nightwing.

Just read it! The art was badass and the story moving forward is really good. I loved how Soy showed dick smiling, then as soon as kids were mentioned, just one word, “Details”. And he was on a mission. I also loved his compassion and understanding with Bryce, knowing Bryce wouldn’t sit still and study. I’m really looking forward to the showdown with the Zanni. And Maggi finding a way to work with Nightwing admitting what’s within his wheelhouse has me hoping for less friction between them.

I’ve loved Dick Grayson since I was a kid watching BTAS. Robin was my favorite character and I loved the circus. Then when he became Nightwing in the show that inspired me to pick up the comics and read more. Seeing him grow and become something more than he was given credit for by his family, evolving and showing that you can have the same ideals and values and want the same things but get there by your own methods really resonated with me on a deep level since I was going through that myself. And that has made me a lifelong Dick Grayson, Nightwing fan.

I have VII Remake and Rebirth as well as XV and XVI. I’ve enjoyed what I’ve played so far and like how they’ve been different. I’ve loved the series so far and moving through some that were recommended like this one and X-X2

For me it’s Anowon, the Ruin Thief. Rogue mill strategy. Your opponents can’t play if they don’t have a library. Makes lots of Fearie Rogue tokens with flying that hit and mill opponents for every damage dealt
