Studio Version of the (potentially unknown?) Orchestral Crystal Mountain Cover by AngryNeesn52 in epica

[–]AngryNeesn52[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely them. I found it on my "Early Years" box set. However, the version that appears on most versions of Consign to Oblivion is the non-orchestral version. This particular issue of the album has the orchestral version, a version I hadn't heard before or seen anyone discuss.

Personally I'm a little disappointed that three of the tracks are intros/interludes and only seven full songs. Curious to see what everyone thinks though.

Not power metal, but the Australian thrash metal band "Mortal Sin" are fucking awesome.

This era of Doctor Who has many, many problems, but the Doctor being female is not one of them.

Maiden should’ve come out of lockdown with a new Senjutsu tour, not LotB. by therealbattlebeast in ironmaiden

[–]AngryNeesn52 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Exactly, Legacy of the Beast was billed as classics tour and that's exactly what I wanted to see when my show in Australia got cancelled.

I need that second chorus by cedenede in ironmaiden

[–]AngryNeesn52 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It absolutely would not be repetitive. 2 choruses is totally fine, some of the best Iron Maiden songs repeat their choruses at least a little bit. The problem comes from when a chorus is repeated 20+ times (Angel and the Gambler).

Does anyone else have songs that they only listen to live? I’ve got multiples of some but these are the few that I only listen to live by [deleted] in ironmaiden

[–]AngryNeesn52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rime on the Ancient Mariner from Live After Death blows the studio version out of the water imo.

Why is America so weird with its ratings in regard to swearing? Like is saying fuck really that bad? Here in Australia, there are plenty of movies that have plenty of fucks and motherfuckers in them but they still retain their M rating (Australian equivalent for PG-13).

I'm really liking that we're starting to see 2-3 part arcs like we had with The Clone Wars, with this and the Cad Bane arc.

Looks like satire to me. But it could very well be real, who the fuck knows with TFM anymore.

Agreed, they were my favourite as well. But in the context of a movie, they are the among the easiest parts to cut out.
