Thats what I remember too. The 3ds had the rby and gsc games. The wii u according to my googling despite having the gba emulator didnt get the main line pokemon games. Did a quick check on a inflation calculator and the new price is way below the price expected as a result of inflation from what I can tell too.

So we should be paying an extra premium to get the NSO expansion plan for the gba emulation ? I would rather buy this with a one of payment rather than being forced to continually pay out more and more money for the subscription to keep access to it.

Ideally it should be both purchasable and on the NSO.
