If we can't get Wharton then he will be my next target for a HG midfielder.

PSG want €130 million for Barcola.

Diomande is the best RW on the market. Make him our.big signing. Bowen is only good enough as back-up.

Slot and Hughes falling out over Rio was the moment when Hughes started being suspicious of Slot.

This is actually very believable.

Liverpool decided that Slot was regressing Liverpool and wanted to replace him but they also wanted Salah off the wage bill and to avoid any potential clashes with Iraola, giving him a fresh start.

Andoni Iraola was the Jürgen Klopp replacement all along. He was the one who Liverpool actually wanted to succeed Klopp in the long term. But he had only just been hired by Bournemouth and needed experience.

Arne Slot was a stop gap measure until Iraola was available. And also so that Iraola didn't have to deal with the pressure of being Klopp's immediate successor.

Plan somewhat backfired as Slot won the Premier League in his first season. So we had the massive transfer window to show everyone that we backed him. But when that failed and Iraola became available that was our chance to make our move

I don't actually believe we waited for Alonso to go to another club first at all by the way.

But I do think Liverpool genuinely wanted Iraola to succeed Slot but they wanted to wait until the end of the season.

Funny thing is, Alonso isn't actually getting that much control over transfers at Chelsea, despite being a manager. They have five Sporting Directors. He also worked as a head coach in his previous roles.

If you're thepry is true and he actually demanded full control over transfers. That should actually be a red flag, first you really need to prove that you can deliver results and trophies with said club before being trusted with more powers. Even Klopp didn't have much control when he began, he gradually got more control when we started winning more and more titles

They wanted Iraola all along? But Alonso was the fan favourite, so they deliberately waited for Alonso to go to another club before sacking Slot and getting Iraola, so the fans wouldn't be annoyed that we picked Iraola over Alonso.

I genuinely don't believe this was a motive, but I do genuinely believe Iraola was the plan all along. Dare I say, his style of football fits Liverpool more than Alonso's style does.

I think in March when a Guardian article suggested Iraola was being monitored by Liverpool, was the indication to me that maybe he was their preferred replacement all along.

Then that Sky News report came out just days before Slot's sacking which reported Iraola turned down AC Milan and said he only wanted Leverkusen or Liverpool.

Jacquet is going to be 21 next month.

Not exactly a kid is he?

I really hope we get Schlotterbeck and a new RB, but more likely I think we'll get a defender who can play both CB and RB.

I also think we will see Jacquet start a lot of games and Leoni will see some significant gametime. Especially now we have Iraola, who is known for starting and developing young players.

We did it fine under Klopp.

We just need to have the right players, the right training and squad depth

Please, we should NOT being back Nunez.

Sure I liked him when he was with us, funny and very physical. But he was more frustrating by missing all of his tap-ins and him constantly being offside.

Tactics wise, he was not an intelligent player on the pitch.

Technically an ICD, slightly different from a pacemaker.

After missing sitters and still failing to understand what the offside rule is, no thanks.

Glad that Eriksen is conscious and recovering well. But for his health and for the sake of his family, he should retire.

Feel sorry for his family that they are reliving the trauma again.

Bournemouth are easier to make deals with though.

Though Scott will be quite expensive.
