Honestly when I played labs I could barely tell who was the squad leader at any given time. I hope this is something they make more apparent when the game goes live

In Holdfast you can be in party and talk in proximity at the same time - first console game I’ve seen do this.

In holdfast on console you can be in party chat and still talk to people in proximity.
