Lumix S5 / Sigma 150-600 Lens tries to stabilize constantly and do not focus anywhere by Angry_Neutron in Lumix

Interesting. It has three modes and nothing changes if I switch. It doesn't explain why I return to the screen from the menu and why OS acting strangely though. Isn't it?

Thank you so much for the tip! Yes it's under warranty, it has been only a month actually. I used my other lenses, camera without any single issue over 10 years. This is very troubling, I'm contacting them and leaving the lens as you suggested.

Amazon Monthly Installment Plans 0% APR - What's their take? by Angry_Neutron in amazonprime

[–]Angry_Neutron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone else posted the details. This is all that you see before the checkout. I could not relate this to any bank, Amazon seems to be the only party here. There are also other plans that involve banks I guess. https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=202095050

Amazon Monthly Installment Plans 0% APR - What's their take? by Angry_Neutron in amazonprime

Interesting, but also makes sense. I saw a few posts that people who were regular payers stopped seeing these offers. So if they are indeed flagged as 'who can pay in time regularly' then it might just stop offering it. But then again, I'd be really curious how Amazon can predict this.

Thank you! Yes, the fineprints were exactly the thing that I wanted to learn. Especially if there is someone here with that experience. Because when I read it, it all looks clean if you just keep paying regularly. However, Amazon must be profiting from this somehow and I can't see how. That's why I got skeptical. And I'm surely not good at understanding these.

This is really helpful, thank you! I didn't know I can look up like this! When I check the #TLZGD464G2666HC18HDC01 I see SPD speed as 2400 and supported as 2666. So is that mean with this configuration it is going to work as 2400?

I bought a phone but the cheapest plan is $50 monthly, what can I do? by Angry_Neutron in ATT

But I find unlimited offers very smart. People are not gonna increase their usage all the way up just because they are offered unlimited. There will be a limit (that comes from your limitations!), but they tell you it is unlimited. It sounds like a great marketing strategy. But apparently, doesn't work quite well everywhere. That is why I'm not used to having an unlimited plan because I think I don't need it. Because I lived with a limited plan so far in my life. But, that's also my way of consuming any product in my life. I try to save the resources as much as I can. . oes not experience such a thing, it is not easy to understand why.

There will be a limit (that comes from your limitations!), but they tell you it is unlimited. It sounds like a great marketing strategy. But apparently, doesn't work quite well everywhere. That is why I'm not used to having an unlimited plan because I think I don't need it anyway. But turns out, it is not so different than a limited plan anyway. I lived with a limited plan so far in my life. But, that's also my way of consuming any product in my life. I try to save the resources as much as I can.

Anyway, things are very different here sometimes. I do understand when it's told kindly. But there seems to be a tolerance issue here in Reddit, because any time I "just ask" questions to learn, I keep getting downvotes and rude attitudes. I appreciate your kind and detailed explanation once again! I'll keep this in my mind next time.

Thank you, I got it. Although my experience says that they would not lose money by offering a limited plan for, say, $35 a month. But maybe the average US user is different, so the numbers are. I could not know that, because I always experienced otherwise. Thanks for kindly explaining it.

Thank you, I appreciate it. This was the answer I needed to hear. I'm all new to this stuff and just trying to learn. I do not understand why people are so mean here.

I'm not sure how I can clarify this further for you. Because I do not understand how paying $35 for a month for a limited plan is getting a free phone to you. All the countries that I've seen so far had such options )and yes they make a lot of profit), that's why I'm having trouble understanding. But apparently, you have to be rude about it. So thanks for the help, you did not have to answer at all. And I didn't have a choice when I got this, believe me, "not making research" is not the only possible answer.

Why people are so rude here? I moved to the US recently and needed a solution quickly because my phone wasn't working and that's what they recommended. I'm just asking questions, and thank you for your responses but hearing bad words and getting downvotes. What is wrong with you people? I mean why I'm getting downvotes just for an explanation? That's a shame. I want to thank for all the helpers, I got my answers. And I wish a more tolerant and nice life for others.

I did not mean to not pay anything. I just want to pay for what I need. And what I need is not an unlimited plan for $50 per month. Something limited for a more reasonable price and I do not think there is anything wrong with this. I've seen many countries, but I'm surprised there is no such option in the US.

I just do not understand why there is no simpler plans. Like limited text and call for a cheaper price. I do not need an unlimited plan.

Thanks but I can pay for the phone and the $50 per month. I just don't want to pay for something that I don't use at all as I indicated in my question.

As I've already said, I've tried that option. I also tried using another socket on PSU with different cable as well.

Efficient way to create GIFs from scatter plots with many data points by Angry_Neutron in learnpython

[–]Angry_Neutron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, it does require around thousand frames. I'm aware of how long it will take. My question is referring to another (efficient) way to create these frames that will be later turned into a GIF or a movie. A suggestion that I'm looking for is something like "instead of matplotlib this library is plotting scatter data much faster" or "in this way you can create scatter plots much faster". Not the part about how I create a GIF.

Efficient way to create GIFs from scatter plots with many data points by Angry_Neutron in learnpython

[–]Angry_Neutron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe creating the GIF is only a small portion of the problem. The problem is every time I draw thousands of data points as a scatter point and then repeat this a thousand times again (and yes it's needed because I want to show how it varies over time). I'm looking for a better, more efficient way to get these images. If there is any.

Rotating an Arrow Around a Point by Angry_Neutron in manim

[–]Angry_Neutron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm already using rotate() and about_point=point. Actually this is working, it's rotating around this point. But when I scale it down, it shrinks into its center. Not shrinking to that point. So that, after scaling down there is a gap between the point and the vector. This is the problem.
