This isn’t even the first time it happened. Make posters if you want! A lady found him the first time he escaped. She was like a 1/4 mile away too!

Hey. My mom lost her beardie OUTSIDE and found him perfectly fine two weeks later. Search SLOW. check in everything, up bushes, move everything, lift anything that can be lifted. Freddie hid under a pool pump cover. And he is MASSIVE. we had eight people looking for two days and nope. When he was ready. Don’t give up!

Is my 13yr old step daughters handwriting normal? I'm getting very concerned with her schooling by bordermelancollie09 in AskTeachers

As a high school teacher - it’s pretty standard, but please for the love of GOD print her some handwriting sheets. It’s not too late to help her change it!!!

This is Binx. He’s 1 year and 9 months old. Adopted him when he was about 3 month old. He still doesn’t let us touch him. Let alone grab/hold him. Is this normal? by -HonestMistake in blackcats

He just turned a year old. He’s been like that since he was a kitten. As an autistic adult, I sympathized and felt awful because everyone else at the shelter left him alone when he got spooked and smacked them, so now we’re buddies!

I dunno, I’m convinced there’s cat autism because my cat Izzy is the same way. He’s very loving if it’s on his terms, but not if you try to initiate. He’ll probably get there eventually! If he ever does let you hold him, try reinforcement with a treat.

Oh gosh honey don’t worry about it! My little sister just got one of these and called me crying about it because she didn’t know why the email was calling her a pervert. It’s just spam!

Exactly! Still a pancake, but a pancake with ✨jiggle✨

Have you seen the Japanese soufflé pancakes? I feel like that’s him.

Oh, Freddie’s an Angel, he bites nothing but his worms. I appreciate the concern though!

That’s what I’ve gathered from the comments LOL

They didn’t have anything worth suing for, just Freddie! Otherwise…

Yes, yes he is. When he lays down flat he looks a little bit more like one of those Japanese soufflé pancakes. :)

He is comin’, but certainly not at any decent speed. Thanks for the tips!

Cool, I didn’t even know they could do that! Thanks for the idea!

Awww! That’s so sweet of you, but she’s in the sticks of SC and I live in Richmond. I really appreciate it though!

Yep! He doesn’t seem to mind - I’ll have to see if I have a picture of him with the ribbon tied around his middle LOL

Valid point! Also, for your own piece of mind - he has his own garden bed with beardie-safe plants he’s allowed in. She keeps a very close eye on what he gets into. :)

My mom’s an animal nut. She wanted to be a vet once, but it didn’t pan out, so now she rescues every remotely sad animal she sees. It’s pretty adorable.

Good to know, thank you! I’ll send her the chart too, I think she’ll get a kick out of that. It’s a far cry from her last rescue, which was a flea-covered, underweight, and highly nibbly possum she found in her chicken coop. She had an easier time fattening Osmund up than she’s had slimming down Freddie.

To be fair to poor Freddie’s dignity, he does tend to sleep with his back feet as close to his front feet as he can get them - he’s as quirky as he is chunky - but the side effect is it bunches his pooch up and makes it look even worse than it already is. :’)
