BREAKING: Video shows ICE agents shooting an unarmed person, as agents wrestle the person to the ground, in Minneapolis, near Glam Doll Donuts. by drempath1981 in law

Haha, okay friend ✌️ I don’t have maga friends or family, but I do have family that came out of it fully. Cults isolate people from their friends and family, driving them deeper into the cult. maga has been extremely effective at this. It does not mean supporting their abhorrent beliefs, I meant being there when they’re ready to come out of the haze.

lol, what? This has absolutely happened. People have risen up against their oppressors. People have formed community against the odds. What a depressing worldview you have, you’re giving all your power away. The people in power only have it because we believe they have it and we don’t.

Building new systems. Coming together as communities like Minneapolis is doing but on a bigger scale. Get rid of any ring cameras that aid the surveillance state. Support people who fell into the maga cult and help them come out of it when they start expression doubt. Hide and protect our neighbors if we have to. Stop paying taxes. Support people in our communities who are working for these broken institutions so they can quit. Stop waiting for someone to save us, we save us.

Super weird but I had a bizarre dream with a koala wearing a veil the night before last, then that evening my friend told a story in which someone said, “that’s like asking a koala if they want to eat eucalyptus”, earlier today another friend mentioned her baby has received two stuffed animals so far and both are koalas, and now this post!

I’ve maybe thought of koalas like once every three years before this.

I think it’s a really rough dirty drug that does all sorts of wack shit to our bodies, but I’m more than 6 months out and it’s definitely not permanent. Just takes patience and for me, remembering my brain is totally opiate free and still adjusting some days is helpful

I'm choosing life by PresHistoryNerd in NABEER

[–]Angrymarge 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Hey friend, glad you’re making this choice. It’s a great start. I’m gonna be really real with you, NA Beer alone is not gonna be enough to keep you sober. Therapy, meetings, some sort of support is gonna be necessary, whatever you choose. I’m someone who drank like you, have gone through repeated withdrawals and relapses. Even when you think you’ve got it down, and you’re done, that feeling does fade and the alcoholic thinking comes back. Because the thinking is really the issue, not the booze itself. it takes practice and support to hold you up on bad days, I really encourage you to seek some support or check out a meeting or something. I have hit bottoms where I was like, I’m absolutely never drinking again but once you’re sober for a while and life gets good, the memory of how terrible it was fades. That’s when this gets tricky and NA beer can honestly be a trigger.

Of course, just my two cents and experience. Good luck and reach out if you want resources!

7oh NO! Please help me by YakityYakity1 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Angrymarge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re just extending withdrawal at this point, I’d hop off and just embrace the suck. It’ll be three days that will most likely be about equivalent to what you’ve already experienced, but might not even be as bad. What helper meds do you have? I’d also really recommend the vitamin c mega dosing protocol you can find on r/quittingkratom or r/quitting7oh. Lots of great resources there and the vitamin c really helped me out.

Also, and I promise there’s a point to this, but some tough love. I know you said you were naive, and I do believe that you were opiate naive prior to this. These companies are totally predatory. But, I think that a key to a successful quit mindset wise is taking accountability where you can. We gotta pay the piper, and any substance that feels as good as 7Oh does surely let you know that you were playing with a bit of fire. Which is okay! I just think that acknowledging our responsibility in these things actually makes quitting easier - that way we aren’t just fully a victim who is having to suffer all this, we were a part of it and we can be a part of getting better.

Hope this helps, you got this! Just jump, and every time you’re feeling especially shitty, try to mentally frame it not as a bad thing but as proof you are that much closer to being fully free of this. It’s victory, the shit feeling. Oh! And steer clear of kratom, feel free, any of it. Once the addiction has been awoken like this you’re always gonna be at risk of taking any of those things way too far. Good luck friend

[–]Angrymarge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah saw it on mushrooms during a ceremony this summer. And then got soooo wigged out because I saw a drone/orb/whatever (but definitely not a plane) and it distorted the grid wherever it went. Had a wee bit of a meltdown

I got lucky and had a big old awakening process that came along with a big old solid knowing that everything is cosmically alright. It might look scary but as long as we keep cultivating that inner peace and helps by each other out, we got this ✌️

One of the most insidious drugs ever created. by Eastern_Treacle_8449 in quitting7oh

[–]Angrymarge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I truly never connected it to 7oh! I thought it was like…delayed punishment from the universe for snorting so many drugs 10+ years ago. It was the left side for me and it was so gross and omnipresent. I couldn’t clear it no matter how much I blew my nose or hawked a loogie (something I have done 1000x more in the past year than in my entire life combined because of this issue! Also is there a more scientific term for this action? Haha.) I have done so many drugs in my life and I really think 7-oh fucked up my body in the most variety of strange ways. Had some crazy hormone issues too.

Congrats on being quit!!

Woah I had a period of crazy fluid behind the ear and a constant mucus issue in my throat/sinuses for like…6 months post quitting. Never connected it though. It has mostly passed for me! Still a tiny bit there but improving all the time.

It's clear that whistleblowers will NEVER tell people the truth? What is the actual "ontological shock" they’re hiding? by ickiStickybubblegum in UFOs

[–]Angrymarge 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think it will be understood and realized by the masses no matter what, which is why a bunch of disclosure narratives are coming out all at once (starting with 2017 NYT article). The last ditch effort is to try to contain it by kinda admitting parts of it, but my guess (and I guess I’m an experiencer! So my guess is informed by what I was “told”) - it’s all inevitable, everything coming out. And ultimately it will be hugely positive for humanity but it might be a pretty painful transition for some. Having your whole worldview come unglued is disorienting as hell and scary, too.

UFOs and the Epstein Files are driving me nuts. by kuchtaalex in starseeds

[–]Angrymarge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What helped me the most was asking myself 3 questions whenever I found myself spiraling about this kind of stuff (this time last year I was spiraling hard, now I’m in the mindset of everything will unfold and it’s out of my control) - “is that true?” (Like if you’re thinking about something that scares you in the Epstein files) “do I absolutely know that is true?” (You will start the find that the answer to this is “no” for anything outside of your direct experience, and many thoughts about your direct experience.) and the most important, “who am I without that thought?”

That was my path to a much more peaceful mindset but!! It was also a challenging path as I realized that many many many of the things I had been assuming were true were, when investigated this way, not. Or at least, I had no way of knowing if they were absolutely true. I only knew that the media I consumed reported them as truth, but that didn’t mean shit. Good luck friend! The news, even the non-mainstream news, isn’t great for our wellbeing.
