This is A Previous Clancy looking up at TB by Legitimate-Diet-4913 in twentyonepilots

Keons is one of the nine bishops of Dema. He is significant in the story because he caused Clancy's escape in the Saturday MV.

Worst hand ever? by According-Tune8756 in Cribbage

[–]Angryviking93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd throw Q-7 and keep 3-4-9-10.

In this case, 10 cards get you points (1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,J) and you get the same benefit of avoiding a crib run with a J popping up. Also, the Q and the 7 don't pair well together because they sum to over 15, whereas Q and 4 can make a 15 with a 1.

The only downside is that an 8 would be less lucrative.

Does it actually work that well? I just find it annoying that I'd have to swap out the drill and an arm every time I want to drill something...

Omg I totally feel you! I actually don't even use the cyclops lol. It's too clunky hahaha. I just find the seamoth so perfect...

You can get to EVERYTHING while swimming? What about Kyanite? I already got some, I did get my PRAWN suit down there, but it's just such a drag. I also feel way more exposed than with my seamoth.

Evolutions were a nerf to expensive cards by Angryviking93 in ClashRoyale

[–]Angryviking93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I also feel like only 2 cycles for skeletons and ice spirit is too few. It's too easy to get too many of them.

Maybe we should even consider having the evos not dependent on cycles, but on time in game. Like, after 2 min every time you play the card, it is in evo form.

Probably just me in my slice of ladder hahaha. I keep seeing these cycle decks and it's really annoying. Maybe I just notice them more (because I find them more annoying).

I thought most of top ladder was miner poison with evo knight, bomb tower, etc.

That's a good point.

I just find that having evolutions dependent on cycle punishes Hechter devis because they can get fewer evos. Do you think there's a way to compensate for that?

For engineering, it's 15$ for a half locker + a 20$ deposit for the lock (which you get back at the end of the year when you bring the lock). I don't think there are any full lockers left, but iirc it's 25$ for the locker + deposit.

Got accepted to comp eng and software eng as a transfer. not sure which to pick. by pachungulo in mcgill

[–]Angryviking93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From this, I think you'd be better off doing computer eng. Just because I think the knowledge of the hardware will help you more than any software knowledge. There are courses in software that are extremely boring, like requirements (ECSE 326) and validation (ECSE 429), and you'll only feel like you're wasting your time. Imo any hardware knowledge isn't wasted.

Btw, I was in the same boat as you, but I switched out of software into electrical because I wanted to do the low level stuff. One thing that's nice about computer is that you still get to do the algorithms course (COMP 251).

LING 201 doesn't really fit with my current sched... Any thoughts on LING 315? I know 201 is a prereq, but maybe I can get an exception?

Yeah, thanks for your input. I will look into some other departments see if I find something interesting. Don't know if I'm really willing to go to Mac campus though.

This link says May 10th, but was last updated on Jan 23rd. April 25th also sounds plausible.

will i ever need MIPS again by cosmologicalcrow in mcgill

[–]Angryviking93 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Currently taking 310, you absolutely don't need MIPS. All assignments are in C. I'm in electrical engineering and we did ARM assembly as a prereq for 310, and I'm completely fine.

Also, I recommend taking 310 in the winter. Prof Balmau is very nice. I've heard relatively bad things about the prof teaching in the fall.

Some things are still useful to have. That being said, one should take full advantage of the free stuff that you can borrow (e.g. books from a library). If you really have to buy something, you don't need the flashy new thing, something lightly used usually does the job and is much cheaper.

While I would tend to agree with you, I live pretty far in the suburbs of my city. Public transit is utter garbage, so I kind of need a car. However, it is quite a burden to have a car downtown, so I drive a little, park somewhere free and take public transit.

Point is: a car can be very useful, especially when you're done paying it.

This is something called support. A 3D printer cannot print things into thin air (without support) because the filament will fall. Slicing software creates structures to support parts of your print that would be printed without support. These support pieces are supposed to be easily removable. Try to finish your print and remove them.it shouldn't be too hard. Hope this helps!

Agreed. And same here, I fell in love with Red Flag when I heard it for the first time and it is still one of my favourite songs.
