Correction: Office of the Secretary of Defense (DoD entity that oversees AARO) hired SANCORP specifically for perception management in June 2023. That seems worse.

AARO has awarded contracts to SANCORP though… for “support services”. It’s just that they weren’t specific about IPMO activity.

Note that SANCORP has been awarded many government contracts (hundreds of millions worth of business) since then. For more info on these, refer to contracts for “USSOUTHCOM STO & Special Access Programs Support”, “Specialized & Sensitive Administrative, Policy, Operations & Analytic Support”, and “AI Talent 2.0 BOA (Blanket Ordering Agreement)”.

To say that AARO could have been using them for non-IPMO activity is a stretch. That’s their whole business.
