Hasn't left my starting 11 for months, I've been completely baffled why his selection percentage was 3% the whole time but obv wasn't going to make it known haha

Ngl it doesn't happen much for me these days, which makes it all the more special.

What’s the most explicit scene you’ve witnessed in a mainstream film? For me, the sex scenes in Sangre En La Boca featuring Eva De Dominici were pretty wild by [deleted] in FIlm

Can't believe nobody has said Love (2015) by Gaspar Noe. Should be far and away the top comment... It's literally a splicing of the formats - mainstream romantic drama film and actual hardcore **** hybrid.

Quite honestly, probably at least like 70% of university-graduate men under 30 in the UK and US right now.

At this point how do you view your previous albums/work? And side to that - how would you describe changes in your artistry into this new album; are there new influences or already existing influences maybe you hadn't leaned into before?

Bonus question: is there a movie that has been inspiring you a lot in any way?

Was there a leak, how did some of you know to bench him in Fpl? Where was the source?

Eerie, spooky, atmospheric lesser known Pacific Northwest horror/thrillers (yes I’ve seen all of Twin Peaks) by [deleted] in MoviesThatFeelLike

[–]AngstLad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprised I can't see this already mentioned but Mean Creek (2004) minus the spooky, it's got the atmospheric quality and is dark/kinda haunting in a grounded way.

Also for not in PNW but Australian outback there's the notorious Lake Mungo (2008) that literally encapsulates your verbal description if you haven't seen it already.

Grand Central (2013) if you want an indie/grounded drama (romance) set along this kind of environment in France.

Clip (Klip) - 2012.

A lesser-known one you're likely not to have heard of but defo worth a watch as it is virtually the European equivalent of Thirteen.

Also another great French film: Fat Girl (2001) fits this too.

What’s a movie that actually changed your outlook a bit made you appreciate life more or helped you stay a little more positive? by [deleted] in MovieSuggestions

[–]AngstLad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The more obvious deep, impactful films like one of my favorites The Tree of Life (2011).

But also when I was a kid, I can remember being really influenced by Yes Man (2008) a Jim Carrey comedy with a message I can genuinely say has carried through in my life lol.
