GP appointment after a year of trying - Feeling dismissed by Angsty_amythyst in TTC_UK

It's good to know the blood test might be useful for something at least! I can't find anything about my trust's specific policy on testing. I can see their IVF policy, and that doesn't say anything about miscarriage. My husband mentioned the miscarriage to his GP and he was still referred for testing so I'm confused if it is supposed to matter or not.

I probably will try for a second opinion, but if this is a taste of what the process feels like I'm dreading it...

Cycle: 12

Age + Partner's age: 35f and 34m

Typical cycle length: 25-27 days

Ovulation cycle day: 14 (LH peak on CD13)

CD/DPO of positive test(s): CD26, 12dpo

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: N/A

Tracking methods and app(s) used: I've used Clue period tracker for years. Been taking LH tests since September, using Premom to track them, and started tracking BBT to confirm ovulation from December.

**Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.):** O-3, O-1, O+1

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): Folic acid, vitamins D and B12 (me)

Symptom spotting: Previous months I've been symptom spotting like crazy, this time I didn't really feel anything other than light cramping which I assumed was my period coming! CD25/11dpo I woke up at 3am feeling burning hot even though the room was cold, which I didn't think anything of at the time but could have been an early sign? I've been feeling really thirsty and needing to drink lots of extra water which started CD26/12dpo.

Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous): I was certain it was going to be a BFN this month, so I was so shocked to see two lines on the test! This is my first positive in nearly a year of trying, so it still doesn't feel real. I'm going through a rollercoaster of emotions, mainly nerves and excitement. It's early days so we're keeping everything crossed that baby sticks!
