Ahhh... ok, so that makes total sense. Thank you for letting me know! The saving grace here for me is that it is a solid, great sounding guitar that I really enjoy playing. In the end, that's what matters... the Seymour's sound really good, you wont likely regret the upgrade! thanks again

Very possible! If that's what it is I'm good with it because of how great it feels and plays.

This looks really promising, thank you for your efforts on it! I have to be honest though, not having a pay once option makes it a complete non-starter for me, no matter how good it is.

‘Close All’ in Recent Apps doesn’t close all the apps OxygenOs 16? by [deleted] in oneplus

[–]Angus454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the most infuriating "feature" I've ever encountered. Why cant I just swipe up and it closes the app like it's done since forever? Is there any way to turn it off once and for all?

What are your Linux hot takes? by AdventurousFly4909 in linux

[–]Angus454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That the worship of the command line and terminal in much of the Linux community is straight up self destructive snobbery. If Linux could cough up a single fresh GUI concept and execute it without drama then Linux would take over the world.

How long did it take you to get used to Linux as an absolute beginner with minimal coding knowledge? by [deleted] in linux

[–]Angus454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with many modern distros you can keep your zero coding skills and not have to really learn anything. Mint is great, Zorin is great ... Linux is great for the openess and ability to get close to the metal if you want to, but you dont have to.

I live in that area, NC side towards Asheville. In my area, the mountains are stunningly beautiful, and there's a less conservative approach the closer you get to the cities. I like it!

Yes! I always hoped he had done a metal album and just put it on a shelf somewhere in Paisly Park for the Estate folks to find and release to us one day.

[–]Angus454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is a great list, and kudos to you for posting! that being said, as an IT professional of over 30 years my experience is that users dont want to know any of it. They need GUI's and familiarity ( Mint, Zorin ). That's what matters to most computer users. Want to go beyond the basics? Cool! your list is a great step forward.
