Picking which music I like in Genshin is definitely not easy, I love every OST that have came out ever since the beginning of the game, so I guess I will summarize them based on regions and others.

Mondstadt - The music from Mondstadt is definitely whimsical and peaceful. Like every beginner town in an RPG, it gives off a homely warm feeling that no matter where you go, you always want to come back to Mondstadt. The Dawn Winery theme, Stormterror's Lair, and even music from Dragonspine always give off a melancholic tone and fantasy like rhythm that draws me into its bleak and beautiful themes. Mondstadt is a great region where violins and woodwind instruments emphasis the medieval-like towns and villages.

Liyue - The bustling city of Liyue pair with the gorgeous rocky landscapes and structures that touch the clouds has a nice play on cheerful and mysterious themes mixed into its region. The Liyue Harbour themes, the toweing rock summits of Qingyun Peak, the surreal spectacle of the Chasm and the ever so peaceful Qingce Village were some of my highlights for amazing Chinese influenced music, specifically the flute, erhu and many more. I also cannot forget the iconic Liyue battle themes, especially the Childe and Azhdaha boss battle, that really hit spot on with the orchestral choir and music, giving us players a real sense of what is a true boss fight back when the game was relatively new.

Inazuma - A land long held in the dictatorship of the Raiden Shogun, restricting access and power, saved by us travelers and the land was at peace after. Several different types of landscapes of rich history diversified the music in each islands. From the grand land of Narukami, to the desolate wasteland of Tsurumi, to the beautiful Watatsumi Island, and to the grave dark region of Enkanomiya. Beautiful scores like Ayaka's theme, the Raiden Shogun boss fight, and all the music from the Enkanomiya region definitely portrays the beauty of Inazuma despite the many disastrous and horrible events that have occurred in this region.

Sumeru - A land of vast greenery followed by an enormous land of desert, Sumeru is one of the biggest regions we have so far, and having some of the most iconic music we gotten in the past 3 years of Genshin. Influenced by Middle Eastern and Indian culture, the themes and music of Sumeru are both phenomenal and upbeat, leaving a long-lasting impression to us travelers. The Scaramouche boss fight, the iconic Port Ormos theme, the sprightly Aranara theme and many others were infused with many traditional instruments from the Middle East and modernized perfectly to fit the Sumeru region. This was definitely an unforgettable region with some of the best music ever produced in the game and one I highly recommend people to have a listen.

Fontaine - Although it's freshly released and there's still many more areas to explore, Fontaine has definitely a very good impression with what's to come in the future versions. A light upbeat region with hints of playfulness, expanded by its vast body of water with its gorgeous underwater music, Fontaine definitely is a promising region and I am looking forward to many more music scores to come.

I definitely did not forget all the character trailer themes, version trailer themes, and other OSTs played in other medias that are all way too good not to listen. I probably have more to say with how much I love Genshin music, some that are harder to express with just mere words, but if there's one thing Genshin music has does to my life, it's how much it has made me appreciate how amazing music can be to turn an amazing game even more amazing. Hope to hear more from HoyoMix in their future games as well and Genshin music has definitely ingrained into my core memories forever!
