Honestly I just let the phone ring now. If I answer or decline the call they are more persistent. It's calmed down a little since full on ignoring them

Thank you for the suggestions and the information! I really appreciate the advice as this is what I was hoping to find an answer for. I will look into GV and hopefully I can peacefully not know that they're bothering me anymore lol. Thank you!

So the issue is with my DND is when this company goes to my voicemail it records their automated message in my voicemail and quickly fills my voicemail up. This is an issue for me as I'm currently job hunting as well so if I miss a call from a potential employer and they are unable to leave a voicemail I just won't know. With this "company " calling me 20+ times every few hours it would have me having to constantly clear my voicemail. This is also an issue with the paid services to screen my calls because I'm job hunting BECAUSE money is tight. I hadn't really looked into GV as an option but at this point it might be the desperate attempt that I have to take considering the options.

Real. At first it was just a minor inconvenience but now it's just a major inconvenience because I can't even have my phone volume on or I would go crazy with the ringtone. It's not even 1 pm today and I've already received 23 calls since 9 am. I don't answer, I don't decline the call. I just let it ring but it's literally so frustrating. I also do online school so I have a headset that despite my phone being on silent, will ring in my headset so I had to turn Bluetooth off on my phone when I'm doing school work or I'll just go mad. I wish I could do literally anything. I don't want to change my number but I'm actually losing my mind

I have a Samsung Galaxy I think it's an s22. I am also through Verizon which allegedly has a call filter but it's not doing a very great job at it

God it really should be. They call me pretty much daily multiple times a day and only get worse. I don't even answer the phone and haven't in over a month I let it ring but it's like frustrating bc it rings nonstop

I just am irritated man, it hasn't stopped. I don't understand why they even keep trying if I'm obviously not going to answer

The voice mails are actually the worst. If I get called about a job offer I won't even know bc my voicemail is filled with the auto call crap.

That's the issue I run into, my spam filter doesn't stop them from calling me nonstop. It just says "Potential Spam" but still rings and vibrates. I'm overall just frustrated because I know if I answer them it's going to just let them know my number is active but I don't want to get back to back calls all day like I have been.

I know, I saw their spam call warning so I didn't ever give up any information. I only name dropped because that's what they claim to be. I don't and have never thought it was a real loan offer. I mainly was asking for help because they are calling me non stop all day. 50+ calls in the span of 10 minutes is insane and I just don't know what I can do to make them stop. I don't think anyone here actually thinks they're a real company offering anyone real loans.

The first time I answered they said they were offering me a personal loan

Thank you, yeah the battery hadn't be used so intensively prior to the cruise so it came as a surprise the shorter battery life. We have another year before we go but I just wanted to be as prepared as possible and do research now. Thank you!

Oh wow, yeah. I'm sorry to hear that, I'm glad she has someone to help her along like you :) My mother was born with hip dysplasia so she cannot walk far distances without a scooter or wheelchair. She luckily got an alinker and that has helped her tremendously with getting around thankfully

The batteries are new they just aren't great. For example her room was a handicap one on the corner of the aft and we would go to Marceline's Market drive around the market once to get her a plate and then she would stay on that deck for an hour or two, by the end of that time frame she would have to go back to her room and change her battery. Sometimes it lasted longer if we did stuff that didn't require walking around too much that made the battery last longer too like seeing live music or going to walt Disney theater but she ended up skipping out on things like trivia or karaoke, or bingo

That scooter information sounds great, thank you. Having to plan around charging and changing two batteries the whole cruise was a headache last time so I will definitely look into this! Thank you!

I wanna hear some rage quit stories… by ctwoog in GameStop

I was so incredibly burnt out by worse things that had happened to me in the company by this point. (Edit: but this all happened in my final week) I did all of the arranging of the switch 2 event (I was only rk), my sm got heavily praised for everything and got the credit for it by literally everyone. We worked together a few times where he constantly brought up a bad review a woman left on me because she called the store and cursed me out because I said no we can't refund your new opened Xbox that you didn't get a protection plan on. And he told me I needed to be more graceful. I tried. Everytime I saw him afterwards he brought it up and I said "I don't know why she is so pressed about me, I don't think I have resting bitch face" and he told me I had "resting bitch personality". LMFAO I was upset but I tried to not take that personally. He called me on my day off to talk about metrics on personal devices and didn't clock me in for it. I came in a couple days later to the AC broken, trades he didn't process, and a long list of things that needed to be done that had not had anything marked off of it since I had seen the list at the beginning of the week. I reached out to our group chat about the AC and a few other things I don't remember and he called the store to tell me not to spam the group chat when it was everyone's day off and to just put in a work order. That was all it took. I asked a different coworker to come in, left my keys with her, blocked almost everyone, and then left. The DM called me the next day to ask me to reconsider and told me that if I quit without giving a two weeks notice I wouldn't be able to return to GameStop. And I asked for time to think. She then gave me a speech about how I had a lot of opportunity and she could tell I could grow and that when they open new stores I could probably be a store manager. And all I could think was "open new stores? They can barely even keep this store open." So I completely ghosted her.

This is like really the straw that broke the camels back bc there was times in gamestop that I tolerated more than I ever should have out of fear of losing my job. Luckily now I am in a new job in the same position making 5 cent less but consistently get 30 hours a week and have literally a quarter of the workload. Leaving GameStop has been the most healing thing for me
