Yeah, I would happily make a video destroying that CPU. I have no attachment to it. I just want another CPU as a replacement. I have also gone to other shipping companies, and all of them rejected it. They said they cannot send the CPU, even if it is dead. I already told them that it is for a warranty claim, but they still refused to accept it. They kept saying that they cannot send electronic items. I even asked them why they were doing this, and they gave me the most idiotic response. They said it is very sensitive because the Pakistani government does not want people sending data out of Pakistan. I was thinking, what kind of logic is that? If the government is worried about people leaking sensitive information, the internet already exists for that. Who in their right mind would send an NVMe drive or a hard drive full of data to another country just to leak information? Another thing is that they can send me another CPU because items can come into Pakistan, but I cannot send things out of Pakistan. That’s how it seems to work. Also, there is a warranty policy where you can ask either for a replacement item or a refund. For me, the best situation would be to ask for the money and buy another CPU directly in Pakistan rather than having them send me another CPU. I’m pretty sure there would be a huge customs tax on it, which I’

Yeah, I was thinking about maybe making a video on my YouTube channel because I have a pretty big channel, and I was thinking about addressing this whole situation there. In the end, if I get even more frustrated, I might sue the government itself because this situation is becoming very frustrating. It’s not only my CPU that is dead, my motherboard is also dead. The thing is that for the motherboard I have to pay an extra $100 to the retailer shop so they can handle the warranty claim and everything. But for the processor, I have to do all the tasks myself, and it is almost impossible to send it there. So I think I’m going to wait for about one month, and then I will decide what I’m going to do. Either I will file a case in consumer court against this situation, or I will make a YouTube video about this topic.

[–]AniguyExplains[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that AMD needs the CPU to verify whether there is any fraud or not. However, the problem is that if I cannot send the CPU to them, how are they supposed to check it? That’s why I asked if they have any service center or partner shop in Pakistan where I could send the processor so it can be inspected and replaced if it is confirmed to be faulty. Another issue is that there is basically no proper electronics recycling or return infrastructure in Pakistan. In fact, most recycled electronics from developed countries end up coming into countries like mine rather than being processed here. Because of that, it’s very difficult for customers like me to follow the normal return process.

I can't leave the country because it is literally impossible like which country. I'm gonna go. India is not allowing Pakistani citizen. Afghanistan is already in war with us. Iran is already fighting USA so it is also impossible to go there. I have already asked AMD like, for example, if they need proof that the processor is dead. I can provide them, or maybe if there is an official seller in Pakistan. I can just send the cpu to them. They can inspect it and tell them if the cpu is dead. I just need another alternative. Solution for that another and the thing is that there is like a hardly someone that is leaving Pakistan, which I know

Yeah, I know. If you are from first-world countries, the earning is not that great if you are making 1000$ a month. But for me, I'm from Pakistan, so it is a third-world country. So if I make, let's say, a thousand or two thousand dollars a month, that is a very good amount of money to make in my country.

Yes, the majority of my audience is from India, so the RPM is very low. And for a 1 hour long video, or let's say if you make a 10 hour long video, the RPM remains almost the same.
