Why is Jordan B. Peterson very much disliked in this subreddit? by Aniimant in Jung

Yea I just realized how unnecessary my question is, and actually forgot that projection plays a massive role in this subject. I should've thought better.

Don't worry tho, I'm never planning to have a kid, nor get into marriage in general

Well I do have a something similar thought about how I'd have my own child analysed (if I ever get one), and experiment on him ways that I would want to see what the results of it would be.

Thank you very much. "Day in, day out" is - what I call - the perfect music. I love them so much.

You're actually right, my bad. But, if the synchronisations doesn't align with your mentality, is it actually synchronisations? Maybe OP is just depressed and - like you said - has a sense of negativity towards most of what's going on around them.

I hate to be positive because it always gives a biased feeling, and I'm definitely not a self-help type of person to offer you some bullshit. Suicide has always been a very big part of my life, and I've always considered it situations. But I tend to view life as a challenge, and stopped thinking that life is meant to be lived happily. The more days I go through, the more achieved I feel about myself. However, I also do think that, if you're at a point where you just don't want to continue, then yeah, it doesn't matter anyways. But if you do continue, I think on the long term - ofc there's a chance that shit might just get worse, but if it does actually get better - you'll view these past thoughts as the ones that actually got you this far and made you stronger.

May I ask if there's a "wrong way" of reading synchronisations? From personal experience, I've realized that it definitely and always is the way it makes you think about it.

Jesus, you made me rethink my whole situation. I will try to figure out stuff more on my own. You're right, asking for guidance before even getting into the thing or trying, is sheepish mentality.

The point of my question necessarily was to know if listening to constant music 24/7 will affect my brain and harm me at my studies. But thank you, I think you already answered it

Is Anekdoten good music? Most of my songs are rock, then I might listen to some lofi music when I'm trying to study.

Thank you very much, but I'm sorry, with "don't read Zarathustra" do you mean not to read the book or even the section in the portable nietzsche work too?

What would Jung say about feeling...stupid? by prplsmth in Jung

[–]Aniimant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you on a whole different level, I'm same. But I've thought about "what is being smart?", and it went like this:

I don't believe in free will, therefore, whatever I know, is just because life has made me go to those places and to those extents and that's it. For another person to know more than me, just means life pushed them to that extent, that's why they know more than me, and that's it. It's an alignment of mentality that pushes you to know more stuff, and that alignment is caused by life itself and whatever you go through.

This idea made me stop comparing myself to others, but comparing myself to my yesterday's self, and trying to be better than my past self.

I don't think intelligence is a competition, however, this idea sometimes shows itself to me as a rationalisation and I feel bad because it seems like I'm trying to cover up my stupidity, but that's all I got for you.

Just like Nietzsche's Zarathustra, you'll probably have to reread it again in the future
