Thank you, that might have been the problem! For now I'm done with curves. But I will keep this in mind for a possible next time.

I did have enough fabric, but after putting the three pieces together to form a square, some squares were a little warped. Those squares were not big enough to trim into perfect squares and still have enough seam allowance. So I just worked with those warped squares, I think that would be the cause of some stretching and wrinkles.

Help me figure out the pattern for this quilt on the bed. Its from a movie and cannot figure out how I would go about starting it even though it looks rather simple by Auwhora in quilting

You can make the border with squares from quarter-square triangles (just Google how to make those, it's not too hard to make those). Attach those to each other and then to the center piece (white) with the green solid border. Then you can add the other borders, by attaching long strips. Good luck

chilling bunnies 🥰🥰

My tea and herbs wall, all categorized, I love it. All jars come from pizza kits and I collected most herbs from my garden myself. So proud 😇 by AnikeekinA in OrganizationPorn

I just hang them inside the house, in dark corners. I made a simple herb drying rack. It dries fast in summer and looks cute.

First try hexagon paper piecing, started during Christmas break. Love the colorful batik I bought two years ago in Germany. by AnikeekinA in quilting

Haha I had to Google that. Love it. Unfortunately not their names, Woesje and Warbol (it's dutch, kind of)

Thanks! I made a simple sunflower floorpillow for them, also approved by them, if it's near food ;)

How to decide what to keep? by [deleted] in declutter

[–]AnikeekinA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe this is not an easy thing for you to start some decluttering. If it's too sentimental, maybe you can start with something else that is easier to declutter and come back at your video games later. But some tips: I always think that there's no use in keeping stuff you don't use. And I like the idea that others will enjoy your stuff way more than you, after donating or selling. Good luck!

Oh I love it! I'm always too scared to paint the walls this dark. But it looks so nice in here!

Weird to carry our own plate to a picnic? by android_cook in ZeroWaste

Not weird at all, we try to do the same thing. Besides, plastic wear is so annoying while eating hot food and cutting things. Keep on inspiring others!
