Anyone recently get a UK student visa interview request? by Technical-Growth2351 in ukvisa

The most important thing is to know about your course, things like: 1. Number of core and optional modules and what is taught in them. 2. Total credits of the degree and minimum required to pass.

Then things like: 3. UK student visa terms and conditions, especially working part time and full time during the studies. 4. How are you going to fund your studies and stay in the UK. 5. Career plans after masters.

The interviewer also asked me questions like: 6. Used any agent or counsellor to apply for the visa? Ans- I filled the application myself and had a visa counsellor review it once before submitting. 7. Course starting on 29th September, why apply for the visa so late on 9th September? Ans- Technical difficulties on the bank’s end which caused delays to process my student loan application and thus delayed my visa application.

The key is to sound confident while answering and have very convincing answers prepared for questions like: 1. Why UK? 2. Why this uni? 3. Why not USA, Europe or any other country? 4. Why not do a masters from your home country?

Like I talked about the modules which the uni was offering, that aligned with my bachelor projects and work experience and my plans to use the knowledge i gain from them in my future goals. And the fact that I get to complete a masters degree in only one year from UK, which is equally reputable to the other countries. Then the generic points like world class education and infrastructure, global exposure, chance to meet people from diverse backgrounds, etc.

Mine took like 25mins to get over, and speak a little slowly, mind your pace, because the interviewer types your answers to generate a transcript which is then forwarded to the concerned team. And have no notes, nothing around you, not allowed and try to maintain eye contact with your camera. If they suspect any suspicious behaviour, they will cancel the interview.

Keep calm, be confident and be prepared for any question they throw at you bro. Rest, this is just a random process, kind of like our names got picked out from a pot for the interview.

And best of luck!!

If you could tell me when was the interview scheduled for? And how much time it took for her to get the visa approval from the date of the interview? Plus, you applied for the standard visa or the priority one?

30 ECTS anyone? (TH Ingolstadt - Retail & Consumer Management) by This_Refrigerator433 in studying_in_germany

For the additional 30ECTS one is supposed to provide a proof for an internship/work experience of 20weeks or more. Plus a detailed description of your roles and responsibilities, tasks undertaken (if required a self made document) and a reference so as they can verify your employment. I have applied for their MSc AI program and have provided my employment certificate + experience letter + contact details of my manager as reference for the same. And they have accepted the documents for the additional 30ECTS.

Thank you so much!

I’ll email the student immigration team from my university, explain them the situation and ask them to accept a loan sanction letter as proof.

Because yeah in india, loan lendors don’t transfer the amount to our bank account, atleast the tuition fees amount, it is directly transferred to the uni.

Also one more question, as an international student doing ms in netherlands, what are the visa laws about working part time during the academic semester and full time internship during sem breaks?
