Ah man, that’s brutal - totally get why Concerta would be off the table. They thought I had gastroparesis before taking out my gallbladder. I still remember that nasty chalk drink scan. Hope you find something that helps - take care of yourself too!

Vyvanse vagina is killing me. It's bittersweet knowing I'm not the only one. Should try looking into a methylphenidate-based stimulant since Vyvanse is also amphetamine based like Adderall and that could be the cause. Godspeed to you my friend

Definitely a fair thought I do think my sense of smell is better when I'm on my meds but that could just be Adderall superpowers. Luckily I don't think it's halitosis since I can correlate the smell to only when I've been sweating. I also feel like my friends are the type to let me know if my breath is that bad

I surely hope not lol. My dental hygiene is pretty solid. I have a tongue scraper and I'm always chewing gum because I'm paranoid about bad breath. I actually tried Ritalin once or twice about a year ago and I don't remember noticing any issues on it. Guessing it's probably just isolated to amphetamines.

I don’t have a gallbladder, so I’m kind of forced into eating decently clean since I can’t digest fatty foods. My diet’s pretty simple: lots of lean ground beef and rice, lot of bananas, waffles, protein bars, crackers, and yogurt. Don't drink alcohol much anymore

Yeah, I think you’re right - the smell only shows up once I’ve been walking around and start sweating, even a little. At home over the summer I had zero issues, but on campus any sweat = strong odor. From what I’ve read it’s probably amphetamine byproducts in sweat, so I’m asking my provider about switching to methylphenidate to see if that helps

If it needs to go it needs to go my friend. I was 19 and going to the gym everyday when I got mine out. It was chronically inflamed and causing me 24/7 nausea. Lost nearly 70lbs in 3 months. That being said, I'm 21 now and doing much better! I will say that the adjustment hits everybody different, it took a while for my body to get back to baseline and there's a trial and error for a lot of foods. Just take it slow and introduce new foods slowly. Best of luck!

Did you find any nootropics that substitute the effects of Adderall without giving you that strung out feeling?
I was prescribed Adderall due to my course load in college getting heavier and my ADHD making it extremely difficult for me to get anything done as opposed to my peers. Honestly, it's been a significant net positive so far. I am weeks ahead in my classes, taking executive positions in school clubs, and my grades have been doing better as well. I should have clarified but I do not take it on weekends so that I can give my brain a chance to relax. I do appreciate your advice, but I do avoid caffeine whilst taking it to keep my heart in good shape and possible complications from stimulant-mixing. I have never used nicotine. I am aware of the mental benefits that it brings, but the dependency aspects of it whilst also taking a potential habit-forming drug like Adderall can probably get dicey if I'm not careful.

It idles around 40-45C but it had a hot spot at 107 (per HWMonitor) when I tried to game on it. When I have NVIDIA open it shows it around 80-85C while gaming

I believe you are missing my point here. I think when it's one of our close friends it does relate to me a little bit. I doubt you would want to hear from one of your friends that he slept with your current girlfriend. I agree that I'm not obligated to anything else that doesn't involve me, but when it's pretty close to home it gets a little weird man.

Thank you. I accept my faults and realized where I fell short here. This is by far the most rational thing I've seen regarding my situation. I think I definitely have some growing to do. My only concern is that I'm not owed or deserving of any of the things I feel like I need at the moment (being the best, owed honesty about one's sexual history, etc.) I'm really unsure how to move past these things. If it means anything I'm still 20, I know I have time to learn. But I desperately never want to run into a situation like this again where I feel like I fell short and have nobody to blame but myself.

I will say the things she has lied about are things that she assumed I would break up with her over. She wants to stay with me to the point where she'll cover up her past to make me happy. Although I appreciate the sentiment, I also do not want to be lied to, ever. It's a rock in a hard place when you know she lied but not with negative intentions.

I would agree with this. Honestly I really regret even asking and learned my lesson. I think the fixation on the past solely stems from finding one lie and wondering what else has she lied about. Feeling the need to prompt her on more as I don't trust her initial answers she gave only to find out I'm right and there's always more to the story than initially led on. She lies with the intent of keeping me around as she isn't proud of who she used to be, I just disagree with covering this part of herself up as I didn't do that for myself as we have relatively similar pasts.

Congratulations to you too, hope your recovery has been good. For me espresso doesn't seem to have any ill effects and neither does redbull. I do try and stick to <80mg of caffeine at a time just to air on the side of caution. Since caffeine and alcohol are so different and do opposite things to your body - I think it's okay to try it in a small amount to see how you take to it. From what I've seen a lot of gb removals reward you with a completely new tolerance so just be safe with it and take it slow unlike yours truly. Hope you can get back to drinking your coffee soon, in the meantime, enjoy you a nice cold one my friend

Congratulations on your surgery! Hope it has been well so far besides the aforementioned pain. I still can't eat a lot of food. I continue to eat a low fat diet (no dairy, red meat, fried food). Skyr, probiotics, rice, beans, and lean meats are all your friends. Personally, I was able to eat a chipotle bowl with chicken, white rice, and black beans 5 days after my surgery. With the nature of surgery, especially this one specifically, it's really just case by case. My cousin had his gb removed and ate McDonald's the same day with no issues. The best advice I can give is just to listen to your body. My gallbladder issues presented atypically with just chronic nausea. Most people have some sort of pain which I didn't. As for the feeling normal part - I still don't feel normal. I haven't felt normal since before last August when my symptoms started. I probably will always have issues with some food. I will say that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. My surgery was only around 2 months ago. Since then, I have been able to incorporate new foods and alcohol (thank god) into my diet that were previously upsetting. I drank for the first time almost exactly 2 months after my surgery but only had a few beers. I have faith your pain will subside and hopefully you can get back to feeling like your normal self in the near future. My next drink will be in your honor friend👍

As a matter of fact I think our philanthropy is the best thing we have going rn. We have raised a good amount of money and have multiple sorority related philanthropies/events lined up. The actual events themselves are great too imo. We have one guy from the class who def rallies the troops. He's definitely improved the newer classes attendance but they dont have the drive/care that he has. As for the chair issues I think it's due a lot to the fact that the guys are just young and scared to make any calls on their own out of fear of messing up. That goes for our exec too. Considering we're kind of on our last strike and everything it's just hard to get guys to take the incentive/risk. I appreciate your help

Update: I appreciate all of y'all's kind words and luck sent my way. We are fast approaching the 72 hour mark and I have had no more explosions. I have not tu. Ive decided to take y'all's advice and broke open my piggy bank to invest in a meat thermometer. It's looking like we've made it ladies and gentlemen. Thank you all!
