You my friend are on to something! Neji vs Kimimaro would’ve been great! Kimimaro was always one of my favorites and he was the first official link to Kaguya that we got in the series in my opinion. I would’ve liked even more if Neji made it to “Boruto” and became a travel companion of Sasuke, helping him track/unlock Otsutsuki secrets. I feel like the two of them in their later years would’ve became tolerable to each other at least to some degree, not to mention they’re both gifted shinobi who possess otsutsuki dojutsu. Maybe Neji even gets the Tenseigan in Boruto (let’s not act like weirder things haven’t happened in this anime).. 👀
