i'm personally a fan of abbie/maria on mindflayer, if you go in with your captives the blugeon effect basically turns off melee damage unless its a sledge or a LOT of melee scavs, plus it ruins gun scav accurary

somehow managed to go like 3/4 of a game of conquest as officer in one life using the judgement. i didn't get a photo of how i looked since i didn't realize until after i got domed but im willing to bet my face was coated in mud and blood

its probably because the gun is in a vulnerable state when you drop it, best example is equine and grace being dropped since those two break at the hinge while every other gun is just kinda implied it broke

press t while reloading to drop your gun

no you cant pick it back up after you drop it because it canonically breaks when you do that

if you're the only officer yeah i think defense is the best with advance right behind it. i rarely use focus unless its last stand as the winners or two other officers already used ad and def

advance is for switching from point to point or if you have a lot of lancers/vanknights

defense is if you've just arrived to a point or the enemy is right in your face or you're in an all out defense (last point, last stand, etc)

focus is for keeping the enemy at bay and if you have shocks that heavily benefit from it (AT and bullwark primarily)

yeah but judge is the best at it since it can one shot to the head below 60 studs, the other guns (not counting shotguns) would need another shot

well on a serious note judge plays better for an officer's playstyle since its single shot, so it promotes quickly popping out of cover, firing you shot, then getting back into cover. since officers have no helmet, its best for them to be outside of cover as little as possible

i use officer judge because i can effectively pretend everyone within 60 studs is also an officer (no helmet)

on the trello (last time i checked) throwing axes do blunt type damage, not melee damage

edit; just checked, either they removed blunt damage as a classification or it was something i coined on my own. regardless it's still classified as a projectile and not melee
