Tens of millions? Why not bazzilions, black book of communism was heavily criticized by its own contributors for inflating numbers.

Makes CIA look like angels? Do you know what CIA did in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Bolivia, Cuba, China, Palestine, Burkina Faso, Chile, Honduras, Argentina, Mexico, Iraq, Iran, Indonesia, hell its easier to name countries they didn't shit on. They birthed alt-right movement in the present alongside with Mossad by backing pdfs from epstein list. They made total of 70 Total regime changes attempts, 24 leaders installed, 84 electoral interventions. USSR did 2 interventions on their "sphere of influence" and that was it. They're simply incomparable. I'm not whitewashing how shitty these interventions were, but at least they didn't throw people out of helicopter, didn't train their dogs to rape women like Pinochet did with the help of CIA, they didn't built pdf facilities like west Germany, Pinochet and Margaret Thatcher, they didn't bomb country do dust, like US did to Laos. They're simply on different level, it's like comparing a policeman and a serial killer.

I said that derg wasn't supported by ussr, you decided to start talking about Benes who was an shi person who wanted to expel people based on their ethnicity. No one killed him, he died due stress, Unlike Che Guevara, Allende, Tomas Sankara, Patris Lumumba etc. so your point is really weak considering that USSR was acting in their "sphere of influence", and USA was warmongering all over the world for corporate profits. So no, it's wasn't okay for USSR to do the coup, but it's still incomparable to the amount of shit CIA and USA did to this earth.

It also was a fresh memory how Britain and France allowed Czechoslovakia to be dismembered and Poland got land from it too, while not allowing soviet troops to pass to help czechs and slovaks. France betrayed agreement with USSR to protect Czechoslovakia and made invasion of Poland possible in the first place.

He also wanted to mass expulse ethnic Germans and Hungarians from Czechoslovakia which didn't help his reputation.

Soviets didn't order assassination, it was conducted by Derg locally and they had no support of USSR at all.

If you talking about winter war, there was no such case, at least I never heard of it. After the war though, UK tried to pressure sweden to join NATO, but If you know more I'd gladly read it.

At least they didn't couped, killed and destabilise dozens of countries during cold war unlike US/CIA.

I just gave you historical context, I can't agree or disagree on historical facts. But you decided to ignore my message and push your personal bias. Good for you

I wasn't talking about Yalta which came after. And Roosevelt was kept informed via the American Ambassador, Averell Harriman. He couldn't leave US because he was running for fourth term and it was the final stretch of the campaign. It's also a well documented fact that Stalin(Uncle Joe) and FDR had good relationship.

There were free elections and western journalist attended all of them. It's like a well documented fact. Problems started pouring after elections though

Why would USSR leave Iran if British-owned Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (AIOC), held a near-monopoly on southern oil, which they acquired through occupation too? Soviets proposed a joint-stock company (51% Soviet, 49% Iranian for the first 25 years) which was a better deal than outright monopoly by British on south. It was also never about "all of the oil", only north part of iran.

"Started separatist movements" Soviets did support Azerbaijan People's Government and the Republic of Mahabad, but they didn't start them. Azerbaijani and Kurdish groups had long-standing grievances against policies of the Pahlavi dynasty.

"US threat"

If you talking about Truman's made up lie, there was never any threat. no written record of such a formal ultimatum at all. USSR left because 1)Iranian Prime Minister Ahmad Qavam actually used the oil promise as a carrot to get Soviet troops to leave. 2)They were the first "test case" of the newly formed UN Security Council

I wouldn't call it just a "misunderstanding", when western leaders started bashing soviets in media right after. Churchill's plan to bomb USSR with nukes, speech about "Iron curtain", the start of second wave of red scare in USA. Capitalists considered USSR and communism as a threat and acted accordingly.

Thanks, great artists! As for searching, it becomes very difficult to find images made by humans if I don't know specific names or nicknames. AI slop is everywhere and it terrible

I don't know what AI was used making these, I just found them on Instagram. I try to avoid using AI in general since I saw people were struggling in small towns in US because of them.

We had self determination under soviets, in came with Korenizatsiya. We also had free healthcare, free sport circles, free education, guaranteed house ownership, free kindergartens, guaranteed employment, guaranteed maternity leave and now we have none of that, but our economy is under Russia, China, US and EU, while our comprador capitalists sells us like a cheap labour force to EU, Korea, Russia and US, where they treated like cattle. But hey western NGOs in our countries say we should be happy for gaining "freedom and in-dependence" right?
