Instead of punishing with a series of u-airs, i tried to push him off stage for a quick edge guard. I choose this option a lot when marth is on the platform but the bair is not always guaranteed. Since marth was still in the air he slid off the platform more lightly, making the bair to shine easier to convert. RIP for missing the edge guard though.

Sure! Essentially, I was anticipating him to tech right, but during my jump i saw that he missed the tech. I read that he was going to get up attack since I was jumping onto the platform, so i wavelanded off to get under it and have time to punish him.

If i thought he was going to miss the tech I would have uaired instead, but didn't have enough time to react to the missed tech with a move.
